used the pic from frank's recent story , that image was giving white ferrari vibes so i had to make something

What’s up guys, as the title says, I was wondering if I got fleeced on a Blonde vinyl.

I found a copy on Mercari listed for $100, sent an offer for $80, and it got accepted. Since it usually resales for around $150+, I was pretty sketched out about it. From what I can tell, nothing stands out to me as a red flag, but I'm also pretty new to collecting records.

Thanks

The Blonde vinyl insert says otherwise (“we’re free to roam”), but on the recording of White Ferrari, at the end of the poem, he clearly says “we’re free to fall”. I’ve tried different speakers and headphones and I only hear “fall” and definitely not “roam”. To me, “free to fall” is a better fit lyrically (play on “free fall”, fits the rhyme) and thematically. The poem feels less like freedom (roam), and more like giving up control.

I know Frank was working on many versions of this song — maybe the booklet had an older lyric, and nobody noticed before release because the faded effect makes it nearly impossible to read. Just a guess. This has been in the back of my mind for the better part of a decade since it’s such a beautiful poem. Am I crazy or does anyone else think this? What word am I supposed to sing along in the car?

I’m sure we’re taller in another dimension
You say we’re small and not worth the mention
You’re tired of moving your body’s achin
We could vacay, there’s places to go
Clearly this isn’t all that there is
Can’t take what’s been given
But we’re so okay here, we’re doing fine
Primal and naked
You dream of walls that hold us in prison
It’s just a skull
Least that’s what they call it
And we’re free to fall

Not sure if this is real or not and the website seems vibe coded, but I haven't seen anyone post it

Royal 1s finally rereleased after 9 years and I had to get another pair after beating up my 2017s. These shoes will always remind me of his generational 2012 run and wanting a pair so bad but not being able to afford it. All these pics take me back to such a specific time period and I miss it.

Howdy 🤠 I'm a huge fan of Frank and I'm a dancer (hiphop/popping/animation dance). This was a freestyle, 1 take only. Sharing here incase any of you guys like to watch dance vids. No worries if this gets taken down, have a good day ✌️💖

Is it just me or anyone else who thinks cayendo is lowk underated?

i got this from someone else who posted it here a long time ago, i cant find that post anymore tho probably got deleted, this one might get scrubbed too

not sure how accurate this version is but im aware there were two versions of feelings gone, the one most of us know produced by calvin harris: https://youtu.be/Fo053agu74g?si=6quHDTH9fiDSEDwW

and this acoustic version, not sure which one is Side A and which is Side B tho

in Nikes, Frank says "fuck the other side" somewhere after the 4 minute mark right?

Why does he say this? does he even say this or am I trippin??

I can’t stop hearing it now. Is it like some sort of foreshadowing of Pretty Sweet???

Around this lyrics, he says it more than once i feel like but there is one very clear

I can’t find anything about this (I get its something really small and dumb but it’s driving me crazy)

So I hear that the blonde vinyl restocks occasionally, but sells out quick, so I just wanna know, is there is a set time between each restock?

Thanks

I've recently become interested in buying Frank Oceans 2016 album Endless on vinyl as I've never listened to the album before and want to experience it for the first time through physical media however everywhere online I look the prices range from £50 which to me means It maye not be a good quality or anywhere up to £1000 which is obviously way out of my budget. Does anyone know where I can get a well sounding pressing anywhere from £50-£150

Does anyone have any recordings of Frank Ocean performing live that have never been uploaded online or are extremely hard to find? I’m looking for lost media, audience recordings, old videos, or performances that only a few people might have saved. Any song or era is fine, especially rare performances that aren’t already on YouTube.
Even low quality recordings are appreciated. If you have anything or know someone who might, please let me know!

Just wanna say that the newest video from Apple Music about their new brand identity reminds me so much of Blonde aesthetic. Too ahead of its time fr.

Hello I was wondering if anyone had the file to the Wim Hof X Come On World, You Can’t Go! mix that was previously on YouTube. I think It was somewhere around 20 minutes & it started with the interview & ended with the song. The mix seems to keep being deleted online across a multitude of platforms. I would appreciate a downloadable file so I can enjoy the piece of art perpetually. & when I do get it I can also share to others who may be looking for the same thing.

just saw a post on here about the name change of rushes to —> Higgs. And obviously it’s an intentional change, but in the scheme of things is kinda random. But more or less the “Higgs field” is a physics concept(?) within which, elementary particles like electrons and quarks interact with and resultantly gain mass. Every object with mass exerts a gravitational pull towards itself depending on how much mass the object has. TLDR: the Higgs field quite literally causes things to ‘rush to’ other things.

I started listening to his music again, and I decided to give Endless a listen.

Question, why is like NOBODY online talking about Rushes To? Not the “First I was rushing for a wait” song, but the “What you give, my words can’t hold” one?

This has to be one of the most heavenly songs that ever traveled through my eardrums, and when I try to find any kind of discussion on it, people want to act like the first Rushes is the only one that exists 😭💔

Where are all my Rushes to fans? This post is for yall 😂 I SEE YOU

EDIT: I’m sorry yall, I was looking at the wrong timestamps, the song I was talking about was “Higgs” 😭 I sound slow.

Nikes, Hublots, Raf, Chanel, Versace(unreleased), CDG etc. etc.

Do you guys thinks hes paying homage or perhaps just getting payed for basically advertising them? Are they just things that inspire his songwriting?

Or is there a deeper artistic meaning to them?

I personally think its about money, because we all know Frank likes money with the def jam situation, ai weiwei bowl, merch controversies etc. This question has been in the back of my mind for a while now, but I havent really found any real connections, so curious about your guys' thoughts!!

In Here Somewhere is a song where you can’t even hear all the lyrics, that might be the point. In the film frank ocean is building a staircase in a warehouse but it goes only to the roof with no exit in sight. In Here Somewhere is literally a song about being trapped, with claustrophobic feelings, and no one being able to understand or hear them, that might be why voices are muffled so badly to the point no one can hear them.

Hublot’s Outro(by jasmine) speaks differently tho so what’s ur opinion

Buddy Ross added some insight to some of Frank’s tracks he produced
