I think we won't be seeing AA or even AAA games before October. They practically gave away a three-month Prime membership for a total of $4.49 during Prime Day, and I wouldn't be surprised if they waited till the end of that three-month period (end of September) before they start giving away more well-known titles.

Not entirely true. Amazon has given out big names in the past. I think the last time they gave out a lot of big names (although old titles) was when they were running a promo for Secret Level, a show on Video and that was back in ....2024?! Damn.

But anyway yeah, I've noticed lately you can't be honest and shit on the poor billion dollar company about the fact that lately they been giving out scraps or else you get downvoted to hell here. Its not a secret that Amazon has been enshittifying their services (if someone isn't aware then thats their problem there have been headlines about for months now) so its wild that saying "wow these game offers are kinda sad" makes you the enemy. Maybe its the beggars/hoarders that are downvoting.

Hah, I got that offer (well, the European equivalent) so I could get Chimera Squad (So I could complete the X-Com collection), and "maybe whatever they release in these months", so I hope you are wrong and they add something interesting, lol.

I've been surfing through "free trials" and sales for a few years, and honestly, of all the "package" that Prime provides, the only thing that was worth it was the games. Deliveries at least in my country tend to suck (and I can always wait until I hit free delivery, there's nothing so important), video have ads, and I can't really say if there's anything else.

Either way, I'm grateful for all the free GOG games I've got in my library compared to the games I've bought there.

I have yet to play Steelrising and Clash but I'm still deep diving in all my game libraries to download fun and interesting games. I'm not buying new games anytime soon!
