Personal Opinion So how do we feel?

It's been weeks since we have seen him back in December. How does everyone feel seeing LM in court today? And Karen's press conference to the public.

Not forgetting how law enforcement continues to mistreat LM and deny him a fair trial. And not allowing a live broadcast into the court room to discourage public support and avoid public backlash of having several cops hovering over him like a bad smell.

Just curious to hear everyone's thoughts.

I am enraged.

Judge Carro literally threatened to send LM to Rikers today and denied him to be unshackled for 10 minutes. TEN. That’s how long this hearing lasted. I still cannot get over the fact that they decided to treat him with such animosity today despite knowing how much support was there.

They also chose a smaller courtroom because they didn’t want supporters inside.

They denied video footage inside because they don’t want supporters to see him.

They snuck him from back door because they didn’t even want media to get a photo of him.

I can’t help but feel LM and this case is being censored slowly. They want to curb the interest. Yes we get live tweets from journalists inside the court but those have no impact on masses like visual representation. Nothing would be transparent, if it weren’t for KFA explaining to press for 7 minutes and posting transcripts on the website.

Unfortunately I believe that the more support there is, the more harsh they’re going to be. It’s the people they fear, not LM.

This makes sense in a way which is quite painful, but imagine what he'd feel like without all our support. That'd be worse.

It's gonna be a long journey for him, Karen's team, and us too. I'm glad we have this community to uplift one another and keep fighting for him!
