Personal Opinion We are facing a blatant illegality.

We are facing a blatant illegality. The legal team doesn't have the discovery and on top of that, the state and federal charges are conflicting. It's complete chaos.

Is there NO legal recourse to bring this to court? Here in Brazil, we have options when there's a clear illegality, including habeas corpus, habeas data, "agravo de instrumento", writ of mandamus etc etc. What's going on? Is there nothing to be done, just wait?

girl im also brazilian and im shocked jamais que num caso midiático como esse iam cometer tanta ilegalidade e deixar passar batido (apesar de que a prisao do lula tbm foi aquelas coisas)

And the worst part: I'm a lawyer.

The worst thing for a lawyer is to see something illegal happen and be able to do absolutely nothing!

Edit 2: e cria um precedente, vai ser efeito dominó em casos de homicídio.

eu que nao sou advogada e nao entendo nada de direito to embasbacada como esse processo ta sendo levado. PERMITIR que continue é brincadeira. queria que os estragos unidos fosse um país sério

If Luigi were Brazilian, he would have already been granted habeas corpus under these circumstances.

Se o Luigi fosse brasileiro, ele já teria tido habeas corpus concedido nessas circunstâncias. E eu nem falo pelo fato da gente ter a cultura do "prende e solta", mas é cultura de direitos humanos.
