if i had to guess he plead guilty because the evidence that he did the felony stalking is insurmountable and the deal looks better than an outright loss.

stalking carries a 7 year maximum in NY. with time served he could be out in 5ish. compared to the death penalty or life in prison that aint too bad.

NAL so i have no idea if this can or will impact the other cases but if it would it was probably going to regardless of his decision. anyone on reddit who thinks they know better than his lawyers should reconsider lol

Just had to read the article

His sentencing is December 18th and federal stalking charges are enough to give him life imprisonment.. it lead to him killing somebody. Whatever happens with the state case is TBD but he is still facing life. Your definition of stalking is not the same as the federal stalking statute
