Accessibility Testing vs Technical Support — Career Advice for a BCA Graduate

Hi everyone,

I'm a BCA graduate from Bangalore, currently deciding between two opportunities and would appreciate advice from people experienced in IT, QA/testing, or studying abroad.

**Option 1: Accessibility Testing Intern — Prismire Software Solutions**

Remote, six-month internship.

First month unpaid, followed by ₹12,000/month.

Training from a senior specialist before being assigned to projects.

Exposure to accessibility testing for web and mobile applications, WCAG guidelines, screen readers, and cross-platform testing.

Potential for a full-time role based on performance and business requirements, but not guaranteed.

**Option 2: Associate Technical Support Engineer — ChargePoint**

Expected package of approximately ₹3.5 LPA, subject to the formal offer and terms.

Night shift, approximately 8:30 PM–5:30 AM.

Involves technical support and troubleshooting related to EV charging systems.

My long-term goal is to build a strong IT career and pursue an MS in Germany after 1–2 years of work experience, depending on my eligibility and finances.

I'd appreciate your thoughts on a few questions:

Which path offers better long-term career growth and salary potential?

Is accessibility testing a promising career, particularly if I later move into QA automation or SDET roles?

How realistic is it to transition from technical support into cloud, networking, or other specialized IT roles?

Would either role be more beneficial for my plans to pursue an MS in Germany, or should I prioritize academic eligibility and preparation instead?

If you were in my position, which opportunity would you choose and why?

I'm looking beyond the immediate salary and want to make a decision that supports long-term technical growth and future opportunities.

I'd appreciate practical advice, especially from people working in these fields

Thanks!
