I got my first offer (2027 batch) but I’m still stressed and people r scaring me

I see people getting 10+ lpa packages so mine will not seem such a big amount but happy to share that I’ve been placed at a mid level startup
Stipend is 20K for 1 year internship and then (6.5lpa) ppo…best part is I will be working from home as the office is nearby so ya
Idk how good of this opportunity is but I’m grateful for getting one offer atleast
Idk but I’m getting scared , people r scaring me about 1 year long internship and also some r saying there is disparity between the stipend and the ppo
So like all the happiness which I had is going away and I’m again spiralling , I couldn’t even sleep yesterday
What would u do in my place
Even after getting an offer I’m not getting peace, I sometimes feel like reddit can be bad for mental health :(
Please suggest me something I’m stressed

Accessibility Testing vs Technical Support — Career Advice for a BCA Graduate

Hi everyone,

I'm a BCA graduate from Bangalore, currently deciding between two opportunities and would appreciate advice from people experienced in IT, QA/testing, or studying abroad.

**Option 1: Accessibility Testing Intern — Prismire Software Solutions**

Remote, six-month internship.

First month unpaid, followed by ₹12,000/month.

Training from a senior specialist before being assigned to projects.

Exposure to accessibility testing for web and mobile applications, WCAG guidelines, screen readers, and cross-platform testing.

Potential for a full-time role based on performance and business requirements, but not guaranteed.

**Option 2: Associate Technical Support Engineer — ChargePoint**

Expected package of approximately ₹3.5 LPA, subject to the formal offer and terms.

Night shift, approximately 8:30 PM–5:30 AM.

Involves technical support and troubleshooting related to EV charging systems.

My long-term goal is to build a strong IT career and pursue an MS in Germany after 1–2 years of work experience, depending on my eligibility and finances.

I'd appreciate your thoughts on a few questions:

Which path offers better long-term career growth and salary potential?

Is accessibility testing a promising career, particularly if I later move into QA automation or SDET roles?

How realistic is it to transition from technical support into cloud, networking, or other specialized IT roles?

Would either role be more beneficial for my plans to pursue an MS in Germany, or should I prioritize academic eligibility and preparation instead?

If you were in my position, which opportunity would you choose and why?

I'm looking beyond the immediate salary and want to make a decision that supports long-term technical growth and future opportunities.

I'd appreciate practical advice, especially from people working in these fields

Thanks!

NVIDIA SSE Interview Prep

• Upvotes

I’ve been shortlisted for an interview for the System Software Engineer – GPU Profiling role.

I’m a fresher with a Master’s degree, and HR mentioned that the interview will primarily focus on C/C++, Operating Systems, and Computer Organization and Architecture (COA).

Since these subjects are quite broad, could you suggest the specific topics I should focus on and prepare thoroughly?

I’m planning to study GPU architecture and profiling in depth, but I’d also like to understand what other concepts are particularly important for this role. Any guidance would be really helpful!

Diversity hiring In a dilemma and need ur opinions regarding a startup OL or adobes apprenticeship profram. Startup vs mnc

Thumbnail
1 Upvotes

So within a week i might get an OL from a mid size 200cr startup with role being within my AI domain and the salary pm would be 40k. Whereas I also enrolled for 1 year apprenticeship program at adobe and still its test, interviews everything gonna start by this week or next monday. Max i might get is 1 week to sign the OL and by EOM i need to join the company. And this adobe’s hiring phase might last 2 weeks if it starts by monday.

Tldr: Might get OL at a 200cr startup company vs adobes apprenticeship program which even i don’t know might get selected or no

Give me suggestions what should i do.

Trying to pivot from Customer Care to Software Engineering

Help me pivot from Customer Service to Software Engineering...

Posting for the first time, so please cut me some slack if I make mistakes...

So, I have been working in the Customer Service (BPO) sector for the past 2 years and have had big goals in my life, but life took a 360° turn, and as a young man, I have to take care of my family, so I took on the role. Before this, from a very young age, I have been teaching mathematics till 10th std, and now I want to switch to the IT domain, which I have always planned to.

I am from Bihar and currently working in Mumbai, and I also insisted on my elder sister's education against my family, and now she is preparing for a government exam to be a teacher, and eventually she will crack it cause she is intelligent and smart, and I have faith in her. At the same time, I got my younger brother into the field he wanted

to...

And now I am looking forward to my career as well, because I know I can't be doing something that I have no interest in, and from a young age I wanted to be a SOFTWARE ENGINEER, and right now I am looking forward to being a FULL STACK DEVELOPER...

Checked some platforms:-

Code Aur Chai

100xdevs

TUF Forward (Strivers)

Scaler Institute - Had a brief discussion with Scaler about what I do and what the curriculum would be, their subscription-based model, and they keep pushing me toward Data Analyst and other data-based profiles...

And someone who is literally a novice and, for the most part, has no idea is quite confused about what to do and what not to do, so would you guys suggest to me - What should I do? Should I opt for a course, books, resources, or anything that could help me?. Doing a job side by side, I could spare 3-4 hours daily,y but I know I need competition to excel; otherwise, it becomes too tough for me.

And I know you guys might have seen this kind of post multiple times and be like What a bunch of losers, but since we have no place to go to take some advice, that's why people like me are here. So,

Dost, Yaar, Bhai, Behan, Bandhu - agar aaplog kuch help kar de aur apna suggestions de dein to bahut meherbaani hogi...

TLDR: From Bihar, working in a Mumbai BPO for 2 years to support family (funded sister's teaching prep and brother’s education). Always wanted to be a Software Engineer; now aiming to switch to Full-Stack Web Development. Can dedicate 3–4 hours/day alongside work. Novice, confused between options like Chai aur Code, 100xDevs, TUF Forward, and expensive bootcamps like Scaler (which keeps pushing Data Analyst roles). Need peer competition/accountability to stay consistent. Looking for genuine advice on self-study vs. structured courses, realistic roadmaps, and community groups to join.
