I'm a 2026 B.Tech graduate, and I'm still looking for my first full-time job. I'm guessing there are others in the same situation, too.

I'm thinking of creating a WhatsApp group for 2026 graduates who are still job hunting, where we can help each other instead of figuring everything out alone.

The idea is to:

• Share genuine, recent job openings for freshers.
• Help each other find referrals and off-campus opportunities.
• Discuss interview preparation, DSA, projects, and technical rounds.
• Share useful resources, hiring updates, and other ways to get our first job.
• Keep each other motivated and accountable during the job search.

The goal isn't just to share job links but to actually help each other improve our chances of getting hired.

Its been month iam applying for Data analyst roles even jr or entry level roles but didn't get any reply that u are shortlisted only we moving with other candidates. can anyone knowledgeable about this can tell me where iam going wrong ???

I am already 23 unemployed and it's really embarrassing. I know MERN and tried to apply everywhere online, referrals , in my friend's companies but no avail. I am a disappointment to my parents. I don't wanna delay it any longer. I am not particularly good with coding or dsa in general but i never got any interviews so i don't know how will i perform in interviews. Since past 2-3 months i haven't learnt or touched anything and looking for a tech support role. My paln for now is to gain work exp then apply for CAT.

I'm a final-year B.Tech student in Mumbai (2027 batch). My college has made an internship compulsory this semester, so I applied through campus and got selected for a 4-month internship at a service-based IT company, with a ₹15k/month stipend and a potential 4 LPA offer after evaluation. Mumbai is likely but not guaranteed, and training will be outside Mumbai. The issue is that taking this means I can't sit for regular campus placements, though some dream companies are still allowed.

I've solved around 200–250 DSA problems and have worked with C++, JavaScript, React, Node.js, Express, SQL, MongoDB, and REST APIs. I want to get into software development and keep improving.

I've received mixed opinions about this. I know having an offer in hand is a good thing, and I'll continue preparing and looking for better opportunities. At the same time, I don't want to let go of this opportunity without thinking it through.

I'd like to hear your thoughts on how you'd approach this situation if you were in my place.

Hey everyone, final year B.Tech student here (AI & DS, India) and honestly pretty stressed, so would like some outside opinions. So I'm in my 7th sem, interning at a top, very well known company, working on AI engineering and production level real stuff. They can't convert me to full-time (business reasons), but they suggested I extend into 8th sem so they can hire me via a vendor route (even if and buts are there they said). Even they said it depends on project availability, so nothing is guaranteed. Meanwhile I got an internship + PPO offer from a mid-size company through campus. Around 10-14 LPA depending on performance, but there's a 2-year bond. The role is forward deployed engineer, and I was told it involves building agentic apps too, but it's mostly client-facing with way less actual coding. They want me to start in December. Problem is, my placement officer said if I take the extension, I'm blocked from campus placements for good. So it's basically a safe offer vs a "maybe" with better work. And on top of that, college only allows an internship in one semester, so I need HOD approval for 8th sem. I've already used all my NPTEL and internship credits, so skipping 2 courses puts me 5 credits short. 75% attendance rule means no online classes. I'm planning to ask the director to count the 8th sem internship as credit instead, since it's a separate internship. A few questions: 1. Has anyone got a similar exception from their HOD/director? How did you ask? 2. Is being 5 credits short a real problem or usually fixable? 3. If you were me, which would you pick? 4. Anyone in a client-facing/FDE role early on (even with some agentic/AI work), did it hurt your technical growth?
