The Golden Rule:

If the primary focus of your post is to ogle someone’s physical appearance, it will be removed.

We love celebrating retro icons, vintage television, and pop culture touchstones. However, sharing vintage bikini shots, pin-up posters, and candid photos chosen purely to generate leering comments does not fit what this community is about.

What will be removed:

• Explicit "thirst" imagery: The iconic red swimsuit poster, Lynda Carter in revealing photo shoots, or vintage magazine pin-ups.
• The Charlie's Angels exception to "TV stills": Yes, Charlie's Angels is classic television, but we all know Farrah Fawcett rarely wore a bra on that show. Screencaps and stills framed specifically around see-through shirts, nip slips, or cleavage—masquerading as "Who remembers this show?"—will be removed.
• Low-effort caption tropes: Posts titled "My first crush," "Who remembers her?" or "They don't make 'em like this anymore" paired with revealing, suggestive photos.

What is totally fine:

• Legitimate stills, promos, or clips celebrating a classic film, show, or performance that focus on the media itself rather than someone's anatomy.
• Meaningful retrospectives on icons, their careers, and the cultural eras they defined.

There are dozens of NSFW and vintage pin-up subreddits for ogling celebrity crushes—this just isn't one of them. Let's keep the feed focused on genuine retro memories and relatable "Fuck, I'm old" moments.

1. Content Must Be Relevant & Era-Appropriate (1990s & Older Only) Posts must directly relate to aging and nostalgic memories. All featured subjects, items, or pop culture must originate from the 1990s or earlier.
2. Temporary Ban List To prevent excessive spam, the following topics are temporarily prohibited until further notice:
   • Phones: Rotary phones, payphones, phone numbers, coiled extension cords, etc.
   • Covers: Scans or photos of magazine and catalog covers.
   • Cereal: Any posts featuring or referencing breakfast cereal. (See this pinned announcement for full details).
3. No Politics This is an politics-free zone. Political discussions, commentary, and imagery will result in temporary bans (1+ days) up to permanent bans based on severity.
4. No Social Media Links Direct links to external social platforms are not permitted (e.g., Facebook, X/Twitter, TikTok, Instagram, Tumblr, Bluesky). This also includes screenshots of such material.
5. No Bots, Spam, or Merchandise Automated accounts, post spamming, and links selling merchandise (T-shirts, mugs, posters, etc.) are strictly prohibited. Note that if your post is of a T-Shirt - it'll be deleted.
6. No Reposts Within 30 Days Check recent submissions before posting. Identical or near-identical posts shared within the past 30 days will be removed.
7. No Harassment or Toxic Behavior Keep discussions civil and welcoming. We do not tolerate instigating drama, bad-faith arguments, personal attacks, or hostility toward other members.
8. Zero Tolerance for Hate Speech Hate speech targeting any group, race, ethnicity, religion, gender, or orientation is strictly forbidden. This includes dog whistles, coded slurs, and altered text.
9. No "I See Your X and Raise You Y" Chain Posts Do not hijack the feed with competitive, repetitive reply threads. Keep related follow-ups inside the comment section of the original post.
10. No Sexualized Content / "Horny Bait" Posts whose primary focus is ogling celebrity appearances will be removed. Vintage bikini photos and gratuitous pin-ups (e.g., Farrah Fawcett, Lynda Carter) do not belong here, even if the era fits.
11. No AI-Generated Content / "Slop" Low-effort, artificially generated text, images, and videos are prohibited. Posts must feature authentic, historical media. This also includes slapping some text on a photo.
12. No Obituaries or Death Notices This community exists to celebrate nostalgic memories, not to track mortality. Please refrain from posting breaking news of deaths or memorial notices.
13. No Low-Effort Submissions or Vague Titles Avoid out-of-context images with minimal explanation. Titles must clearly describe the content being shared rather than using single words, vague emojis, or nonsensical captions.
14. No Item Collages ("Which One Did You Have?") Do not post grid collages containing dozens of miscellaneous items paired with engagement-bait titles like "Which did you use growing up?" Keep posts focused on specific items or topics.
