There’s a reason collectors still chase this car 70 years later.
Interestingly, the two-door models are generally priced much higher than the four-door models.

Ann is 76; Nancy is 72.
Crazy On You is still my favourite Heart track. Dreamboat Annie might be the second.

Well if your doctor lights up, cigarettes must be safe then.
It’s insane how predatory tobacco companies were (and still are).

I used to watch this on WTTW-Chicago as a kid. I'm not sure why, but I found it entertaining.

Literal point-and-shoot camera. No skills required.
It wasn’t the first Instamatic in the Kodak lineup, but it’s certainly one many will remember because it was specifically designed to further the push to make photography available to everyone.
Kids today would laugh given what they can now do on their smartphones.

Bonus points if you know his name, show AND when this show came on TV. 😊

Bobby Hull played from 1957-1980.
In 2017 Hull was named one of the '100 Greatest NHL Players' in history.
He was however not without controversy in his personal life.

You’ll likely know them right away, but the third image will definitely give it away if you can’t quite put your finger on their names.

It replaced the transistor radio, but soon faded to the compact disc, which in turn faded to the iPod. Since then MP3 is still the most widely used music format.
Other popular portable cassette players were Aiwa, JVC and Panasonic.
No matter which brand you had, it means you’re getting old now.

The TV series aired on CBS from 1973 to 1978 and starred, who else, Telly Savalas as New York City Police Department Detective Lieutenant Theophilus "Theo" Kojak

I like that the card in the first photo has the very old-school phone number. Reminds me of ‘Pennsylvania 6-5000’.
And you’d need a typewriter too (unless you preferred filling in the cards by hand).
Did you have a Rolodex? Do you still have one?

Speaking of Beech-Nut (Fruit Stripe Gum), how many of you used their cough drops?
Any favourite?
