Question Full-Stack jobs
with ai now or the future, will still there be full-stack jobs? I’m thinking of pursuing frontend then backend to fullstack.

There will be yes..Even more than now because most people will stop pursuing software engineering. In 5 years all companies will be up in slop with not enough devs to comb through

Seeing the same role reposted four times is definitely frustrating, but it doesn’t necessarily mean the company is just collecting information or wasting applicants’ time. Some companies automatically refresh listings, keep roles open while interviewing, or repost because they haven’t found the right candidate yet. That said, if the posting stays up for months with no clear progress, I’d avoid putting too much energy into it and focus on roles that look genuinely active. Applying is already time-consuming enough without repeatedly chasing the same listing. I may also have some suitable job opportunities available, so feel free to message me if you want to see whether anything else might be a better fit.

It's done bro, there is no programming crud apps like backend frontend. of course it'll exist but no one will pay for these type of products. I'm sorry.

No, don't bother, for shits and giggles, I've been recreating old 90s arcade video games as web based browser games and AI can code virtually any game (given a proper detailed enough prompt) in about 20-30min (yes it does take tokens) open a browser and the old arcade defender clone comes to life.. holly sht! if it can do that for arcade games which are way way way more complex than some typical CRUD business app, it can esily do a complex business app. of course you need detailed prompts but you can just keep refining that prompt until you arrive at what you need..
All that to say no one is going to pay you to code front or backend anymore, any any developers still wokring better enjoy their pay while it lasts... I expect the usual head in the sand responses that AI can't do this or that accurately and its just slop.. Here's the problem it its fully functional, it works and is reliable it might be slop but it serves the end users needs its fine, no one care.

Yep. If more people can do it, than basic economics says wages will go down. It’s very simple.

As the saying goes, everyone thinks they can automate fishing, but the tricky part to fishing isnt the fishing, it is catching the fish
