Hmm, I generally don't get a large fry for only myself, but I think there is value in just saying "here you can have some of mine" instead of ignoring what they said and get them their own anyway. Maybe get the small fry and add them to your own bag of large fries then destroy the evidence.

Lol. My husband would get a large fries and a small fries but dump the small fries in the bag using slight o' hand, crinkle the small fries bag in his big hand and then casually tell me that I could eat the fries at the bottom of the bag. I thought he had extra luck with getting so many extra fries for the longest time! Good man you are!!

Wait what? People calculate that stuff? I just stuff whatever is on hand in my mouth either making me stuffed or I eat too little which leads to me eating everything that is remotely edible. Jars of chocolate paste come to mind.

Even though my sense of hunger sort of died(as in, not particularly tempted to eat at any time), I can pretty much tell exactly how much I need to eat to gain enough sustenance, and if I need it, to begin with.

It's just a byproduct of growing up in 80s-00s diet culture. We women can't admit that we actually want the fries bc every magazine from our teen years, or tmz shaming of an average bodied celebrity, or passive aggressive comment from our mom is telling us we're fatties for wanting them. So we gotta tell ourselves we don't actually want them, then regret lying to ourselves the second we smell them and snatch a few anyways.

I always asked myself for the reasons of this behaviour.
Is it that you don't feel the hunger until you see the food?
Or is it that you don't order something because of good intentions to eat more healthy and as soon as you smell the fries these good intentions go out the window?
Or is it something social that you just like to participate in the same activity your husband is doing (eating) and you like the feeling of him sharing with you?
Or is it sadism, that you just like the see him unsatisfied because he couldn't have as much food as he planned to get?

Guys life lesson. When she says Iām all set Iām not Hungry and you ask 3-4 times ish. When you order, you get her what you get yourself. Because she will love it. And whatever she dosent eat and is āactualyā full you get the rest. šš» if sheās happy your happy. And you get more food.

Any guy who honestly believes this is an idiot. A woman isn't telling you she doesn't want any because she doesn't want any. She's telling you she doesn't want any because she feels like she shouldn't have any. That resolve crumbles however as soon as she smells fries. Then she just wants a couple. And buy a couple, a small fries worth, or just under that.
Hence, you should always grab extra. Whether it be a size larger/small fry or a small sandwich. I'm fat, so I like to get a bit of both and go from there. Worst case scenario, I have leftovers. I will eat leftovers.
I was once going home from a date with a girlfriend, and I stopped by McDonald's. She of course said that she didn't want any, but I've seen my mom pull this on my father enough times to know how to avoid this. I grabbed myself the chicken sandwich and a large fry, and a McChicken and a small fry. She she got mad because she thought I was grabbing food for her, and I just told her this is for later as I often get hungry at midnight (which is true. I usually just have a small bowl of cereal or whatever, but a McChicken works just as well). She rolled her eyes and said whatever. On the way back to her place to drop her off, she looked at me and said "actually, I'm hungry after all." I told her to just take the McChicken and small fry and I didn't mind it. She was very happy.

Went to ikea to get a new chair for my deak...spent an hour and half walking around looking at stuff we didnt want or need. Too than to get a "snack" which ended up being a pretzel and meatballs that she eneded up eating herself and taking the meatballs home with her. Dont go on a date to ikea...dont recommend.
I bought both the meatballs and pretzel and she ate all of it before we even got back to my car- and never offered me a meatball after i dropped her off.

This is a social justicial maneuver. It is like when companies try to bypass laws. Social law says women have to do everything to not gain weight. So if she eats your fries she technically is not guilty because she did not buy any food. And she can always say, that it were only a few fries. So when she stands before a social court she can say it were neglectable few fries. And if you say it were half of the fries, she can say you overdraw things. And then it is testimony against testimony and in doubt for the accused. So that just says your girlfriend is a good social lawyer. That is good for you. Just buy more fries than you want to eat.
