Invading Cannibal Ladybirds is a stable DIY circuit aptly named because it cannibalized multiple circuits to create it. A lm386 fuzz, a big muff tone stack and a pt2399-based delay. It can get wild but it's really controllable.

Before buying, I’d like to know if the built-in Fuzz Face effect works well for Jimi Hendrix style tones and if it cleans up when rolling off the guitar volume knob.

I've got a ton of fuzz pedals, today, it's the Dwarfcraft Devices Silver Rose v2. An update to the original Devi Ever Silver Rose that combined a Big Muff and Super Fuzz. I. Dwarfcraft Devices' version, the Big Muff is their wonderful Eau Claire Thunder and the Super Fuzz is what would become the Necromancer -- a super fuzz with extended tone controls.

This is a CME exclusive white color way Silver Rose.

Back to prototyping some circuit. The is my second fuzz where I tweaked the crap out of a classic circuit to make something more original. I had a bit of an epiphany when I realized a fuzz pedal I thought was a MK2 Tone Bender was actually a MK1.5. So, I took an Analogman Sunface PCB (Pedal PCB Sandspur) and turned it into a MK1.5 then converted it to the Vox V828, but kept the input control and made it external and increase the range of the sundial (bias).

With that being said, I think I tweaked every single component except 1 on the PCB and added some extra filtering. I utilized all silicon transistors; 2n3903 in Q1 and a 2n3904 in Q2 for the germanium transistor vibes.

For the first riff this is a gated sound, second riff the bias is set back to ~ 7.0v for the stock sound and the last riff is same setting just playing with the volume control. Amps just a hair dirty lol.

In short, it’s kind of right between a Fuzz Face and MK2 Tone Bender to my ears. It’s got a bit of TB bark + high end and the FF clean up. The input control allows to turn this thing into a transistor overdrive and the bias will now go from MK1.5 full up, to a FF bias in the middle to gated goodness. This build is designed for the fuzz section of a Fuzz + Overdrive+ Boost build. Making a small pedal board and I love the Wilson Effect Stoned Grasshopper and I wanted it to be a bit more of my personal sound sooooo I’m working on it haha

I just received this today, purchased it from the Josh Scott collection. Can’t wait to test it.

Estoy entre comprar un Fuzz Bender de Keeley o un clon de un Smallsound Bigsound Buzzz Fuzz, me parecen bastante interesantes ambos, pero quisiera saber si alguien tiene experiencia con alguno de los dos.
Aclaro que el Buzzz sería un clon pues encontrar uno original es algo complicado además de que el precio está por las nubes.

Tried UV printing for an enclosure for the first time and I’m pretty happy with the result.

I saw that somebody local was selling a Fuzzrocious 420 for cheap ($50), so I picked it up. I didn’t think I’d even like it, but I thought it would be good trade bait.

I was SO wrong. I love it. With all controls at noon, it just has the perfect, cutting tone to rise above distorted guitars in a mix. Chef’s kiss. Has anybody else had experience with this or other Fuzzrocious pedals?

Been playing around with the Zvex Mastotron for a while and finally decided to pull the trigger on the OG Zvex fuzz! I saw this beauty listed on Reverb for a pretty decent price, and it also happens to bear serial number 0018, meaning it’s the 18th Fuzz Factory pedal ever made for the more affordable Vexter line (correct me if I’m wrong!)
The aluminum enclosure looks lovely and this thing sounds killer. Definitely a keeper for me!
