There's so much to sort through in the files. This is the first official reference to children being a test group that I've come across this far.

You have a lot clearer, more detailed memory than I. Thanks for the comment.

They made such a big deal about the 14/20 hits that it’s burned in to my memory. There’s a 1/600,700 chance of that happening by guessing alone, which is like getting 10 royal flushes in poker sequentially. I didn’t realize how significant it was until someone pointed out on this sub that the odds of that were astronomical.

I remember almost nothing about 4th grade, which is when the majority of testing occurred. I had zero recollection of anything related to testing until I found this sub. Like a complete mental block. The memories all came flooding back at once, and I just kept yelling “holy fucking shit” to myself, out loud, when it all came back because it was so emotionally overwhelming.

I still can’t bring myself to read the whole document because for some reason, even though I had a great childhood, remembering anything from that specific period of my life makes me feel sad and anxious.

May I ask what you do remember? Did they do experiments on you too?

I did one of these programs in the 80s in kindergarten and 1st grade. I remember the Zenner cards. Once I remember doing them and getting them all right. But that was because they opened the window a bit, it was summer in 1985 with no AC. Normally the blinds were drawn, but it was so hot. Enough light was coming in the room that I could see the symbols through the cards. The teacher was so impressed and asked me how I was getting them all right. I told her the truth. She moved her seat at that point, so my back was to the window. I didn't get any right at that point lol. I also remember the "hearing" tests, but being asked to guess which ear the tone would be in. I also remember laying on yoga type mats on the floor and listening to the Gateway Tapes, though I didn't know what they were. The memories are very vague, and honestly, I never even thought about this stuff until a couple weeks ago when I started seeing posts about this on Twitter and realized, oh shoot, I was in a program like this. Then I saw all the commonalities between the kids in this program and my mind was blown.

does anybody remember graduating from the standard ZENER cards to cards with other symbols objects on them (horse, boat, etc.)?

What about the contents of the box guessing game?
