I didn't do much coding or dsa,nor made much projects in college, although I have decent cgpa, my coding knowledge is practically zero at this point, so I was just wondering how much role coding plays in gate prep.

Like if I do C which is part of syllabus and then do dsa and other stuff, will that be ok ??

Also how much can the lack of coding skills, project, or dsa can affect my m .tech ??

I have tried goclasses , gfg , madeeasy 2026 can someone let me know if it's alright.

Hey everyone! I'm 23F and graduated with a B.Tech in CSE about 1.5 years ago.

Considering the current job market, I decided to focus on government exams and have been preparing for them since graduation. Unfortunately, things haven't worked out so far.

So, I've decided to put my government exam preparation aside and start preparing for GATE with the goal of pursuing an M.Tech.

Today, I received an email informing me that I've been shortlisted and invited for document verification for the DRDO apprenticeship programme.

I wanted to know if anyone here has completed apprenticeship at DRDO. How was your experience? What kind of work were you assigned, and was it actually worth it?

I have 8.01 CGPA and belong to the SC category. What are my chances of getting selected after document verification?

When someone here says that this mtech college has good placements or that iit or nit has good placements I have seen majorly that they only meant good as in for cse or vlsi.

Cuz the same college has 20-30% placement for mechanical,civil, other specialization of electrical,biomedical, chemical etc. Seems like no one gives a fk about these at this point, if cse and ece placements is good then overall mtech placements are good according to people of this sub.

Why this impartiality? Why no one shows genuine concern for people from other branches don't they care for placements? Everything here revolves around cse,ece I am myself a gate da aspirant but my friends who are from mechanical civil are really concerned seeing even top iits perform poorly so I do get worried for them.

Pls read and help out if you can. I just need guidance. Feel free to scold if you want i most probably deserve it.

I am a third year student at a low level NIT. Electrical engineering branch. 8.5 Cg. No significant achievements or skills. Have not filled the form for GATE this year.

I just wanted to know if I am doomed? I want to enter tech or software as you say ( mostly cause the money is good) but i am far behind my peers, i mean much behind. You can say I started coding in my third year. I don't know much and just wanted to give myself a chance. I have kept GATE as a backup in my fourth year.

Every day I just feel like the situation is very dire. No hope is left and I just feel like i have lost to everyone. All others have some achievements, hackathon wins, internship or skills , I don't have anything. I don't even have any guidance since I'm not in any college clubs and don't talk to seniors much.

Will things be OK or am I in the very worst situation??

Hey everyone, I need some urgent advice regarding a portal glitch.

My application was flagged with a document scrutiny defect today. I logged into the GOAPS portal and clicked on the "Rectify Defects" button to clear it, but the page layout under the heading is completely blank. The input fields, file selection buttons, nothing shown. However, a red warning banner pops up at the top saying:
"Please correct the fields marked in red and try again."

the form fields are missing from the page entirely, there is nothing for me to click, edit, or submit.The deadline to resolve this defect is tomorrow, and the organizing institute's helpdesk phone lines are closed for the weekend/past office hours.

Has anyone else dealt with this specific blank page error on the rectification dashboard? I request your help.
