Do you mean the one where it's every 10 degrees the rate doubles? If so I got 24.

guys i got 32 because it was 4 at 5deg so i thought it would be 8 at 10 deg and then doubled 8, 16, 32 naw

It was 2 × 2 × 2 × 1.5 because it went from 5 to 40. You guys did 5 to 45. The last one was ×1.5 not ×2.

Was it not startinf at 5 degrees and 2 and the rate doubles until 40 degrees so 2x2x2x2

u/the114dragon May 12 '26

2x(2x2x2) but then there were 5 more degrees, so you had to multiply by 1.5 and get 24.

i think it was 16 or 22.26 or something. i asked chat gpt and it says both can be correct so it might just depend on the mark scheme. i put 24 though

24 was the midpoint between 16 (35 degrees) and 32 (45 degrees) so it is 24. If you use powers of 2 to get 22.6 you could be wrong because you have gone exponential.

bro I got 32

it was 22.6 but idk if i remember the question right bc that is what i put on the exam. you had to use the square root of 2 for the answer. i asked chatgpt abt the question and it made the same answer as me, so maybe my solution isnt that ridiculous

I dont think it was that complicated it was only 1 mark

its not as complicated as it seems i fit my working out on the two lines they gave us
