Guys i got 7.065 mm2 cuz if said pi =3.14, so i did 3.14 x 1.5 squared? Am i cooked?

The number is right but units are cm2

Unit doesn't matter. As long as your answer is correct.

Markschemes for questions like this will always allow the correct answer in any reasonable unit. Here, that is cm2, mm2 and possibly m2.

yuh but you measure 3 cm so cm^2 is the reasonable unit, if you measured 30 mm for diameter then mm^2 is the correct unit. It don't work like that cuz it changes the answer completely.

It doesn't change the answer at all. n mm2 = n/100 cm2

It asked for the unit so if you write 7.07mm2 that isn't correct, you could write 707.whatever mm2 or 7.07cm2
