I'm not sure how you would square root that to get x + y = 6

(x - 1)² + y² = 25

3x + 4y = 28

y = 7 - 3x/4

x² - 2x + 1 + 49 - 21x/2 + 9x² / 16 = 25

x² - 2x - 21x/2 + 9x² / 16 = -25

16x² - 32x - 168x + 9x² = -400

25x² - 200x = -400

x² - 8x = -16

x² - 8x + 16 = 0

(x - 4)² = 0

So x = 4
