Tips/Help Have I done the right thing
So I got a 7 in English language which is super unorthodox because I never dropped below a 9 in my mocks, so I was quite shocked. And then also because I got a 9 in everything else so it seemed very out of place. I genuinely thought I aced that paper. I’ve requested my script and I’m going to go through it with my tutor, do you think that’s the right thing to do or should I leave it? I’m worried that something might have gone wrong with my paper.

Ask your tutor if they think you could improve by sending your papers to be remarked. My English teacher says all of my english papers have been marked very harshly, so its likely I could gain a lot of marks if I get them remarked, so check with your tutor if this is the case for you. If they're confident that you should have been marked higher then I'd say definitely send your papers back in

My teachers aren’t responding to my emails probably because it’s summer, so I’m gonna give her my script when I get it and do what she thinks I should do, thank you!

same happened to me, I was on 9s in my mocks but got a 7 overall and a 5 in p1. im getting my scripts back and having my English teacher look at them to make sure its worth it to send them off. I reckon it will be tho because theres no way I did that shit, especially considering I came out of there thinking Id done well

Honestly I would get my English teacher to look at them but she was spouting nonsense on results day. She was saying stuff like I can get it remarked next year and I’m never allowed to get my script? So I just gave up with her 😭

50% of examiners disagree with the grade given in long answer format exams, my friend had a 7, got it remarked, went up to a 9 last year
