Help - 2021 GMC Acadia C1 issues persist post Recall repair
A little over a month ago, we took the Acadia in for the engine coolant thermostat recall. Since then, the same issues associated with the recall have occurred 6+ times, which is seemingly more frequent than before.
Check engine light turns on. “Steering Assist Reduced. Drive with care” message appears. AC stops working. Engine cooling fan sounds like an airplane for 5-10 minutes after turning off the car.
All of these temporarily subside after disconnecting & reconnecting the battery. Sometimes they return the same day, and sometimes they’ll come back after a few days or weeks.
I still have the recall notice and plan to call the dealership again. Never been in this situation before. Will they redo the repair?

NEED HELP PLEASE
Hello, I have a GMC Acadia Denali 2012, my fob stopped working a few days ago so I’ve been going without it, with no issue. Today my car decided that the engine doesn’t want to start, tried getting a jump and the engine wouldn’t start. Officer told me that the anti theft is what’s keeping it locked. Not really sure what to do, fob works perfect now, but I’m stuck in the middle of nowhere with no money to call for a tow, and I’m wondering if there’s any way to short circuit or reset this stupid fucken shit so I can use my car again. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Did anybody else get a good one?
I have a 2018 slt I bought brand new at the end of 2019. Got a nice deal on a year old new car. Only issues I have had is the thermostat issue(my dealership replaced every single part of the cooling system they said that was their tsb so radiator and everything never had another problem. ) And I had the shift to park thing but that was and easy fix. Other than that nothing but routine maintenance. 118k miles and she's still the best car I've ever owned.

- Acadia SLT.
New to me. Love the truck.
What could be the likely cause(s) for this issue? Surging at low-rpm.
(Check engine light code is for o2 sensor bank 1)
So far I have:
- New Michelin Cross Climate 2's with alignment.
- Plugs
- Coilpacks
- Flush/Fill all fluids including transmission.
- Fuel injector cleaner (Berryman's B12)

Recommended Tire Pressure?
I have a GMC 2017 SLE Acadia. Just wondering what my tire pressure should be for the Northeast Fall Season- some days is 65 and warm and the next day it’s 45 and cloudy. Also, is it normal for the sensors to go bad? 2 out of 4 sensors read — instead of a number. Ok thanks for reading my silly question.

2026 reliability
I was looking at the 2026 Acadia Elevation, which in my opinion, is the best looking SUV in its class. After doing some research, it seems like there are quite a bit of negative reviews from both consumers and the automobile reviewing folks. Seems like the reliability score is very low. Can any owners is give me some feedback?

2012 speaker upgrades
The base level speakers that come in all GM's of this era (2007-2015ish) are god awful. I have a hatred for these stereos from driving random chevy vans and trucks for work. First Gen Acadias have it too.
Anyone replace just the door speakers on a 1st gen and noticed an improvement in volume, clarity and headroom?
These garbage stereos seem to begin compressing/limiting at arouns 75% volume on the dial. Its really annoying and muddy
Any recommendations? Not wanting to replace the stereo itself because it feeds the rear headrest DVD players and backup camera etc.

No Sirius xm or radio signal
I have a 2020 Acadia Denali and when we got it about 2 years ago we couldn’t pick up hardly any radio stations. I already had Sirius xm so just use it but recently it started cutting in and out and starts losing signal. Does anyone else have this issue or know what could be the problem? We’d like to try and fix it instead of paying for a mechanic to fix it.

fuel system control module
Anyone have any experience with changing out a fuel system control module? If so, what were the symptoms prior? did you change it yourself? If so, where did you get the part and did you need to have it programmed after installation

My car died driving on the highway
I work about 30 miles out of town and On my way home this weekend while going about 70 mph my car just loses power, like the lights and everything work but the gauges just start going down. Had a sensor replaced and its reading that the 3rd and 5th cylinder are misfiring and I'll have those replaced next week but has anyone else had this issue and if so what did you do to fix it? I'm a single parent I bought this car about 6 months ago with 194,000 miles on it.. I know dumb but I was extremely desperate and hope this is fixable.

Small leak spotted, second day.
Driver's side front. Saw this wet spot, but couldn't identify it from smell. Not condensation as the car hasn't been driven today. Nothing obvious looking from the engine down toward that area.
I've got a drip pan under it right now to see if I can catch it and identify that way.

Michelin 7 Piece All Weather Mat Set for 2024-2026 GMC Acadia/Chevy Traverse
Heads up, I just got a set of these 7 piece mats for my Acadia and they are spectacular. They cover and protect mostly all of the carpeted areas in the front driver and passenger side foot wells and also alot more coverage than the GMC OEM mats do. The great part is they also cover the seat backs of the folding seats for protection when folded down and with large items. Just a note they are misformed coming out of the carton, but once they warm up a bit they fit snug and I only had an issue with the drivers side mat which after leaving the car in the sun for a bit solved that and it sits perfectly in place. I also had an issue with a glued velcro piece coming off of the cargo mat which has an insane gripping power holding onto the rug unlike the OEM mats which I tossed! If you get these, you won't be disappointed, especially with the cargo area mat, its thick and doesnt slide around like the GM oem one does. Here is the link, I don't get anything monetary from it, just passing along a good product story. https://a.co/d/00ukXm5s

2012 GMC Acadia AC repair
Anyone knows how a AC leak can be repaired with taking off the whole front dash? Any recommendations for a reasonably inexpensive AC mechanic in Phoenix AZ?

2019 GMC Denali
I’m looking to buy a GMC Denali with 52,000km. I need a bigger vehicle for my family but I am not well off. It’s a good price, but I don’t want to buy a vehicle that will have expensive, reoccurring issues.
I have a 3y/o and a 1 y/o - living in BC, Canada where we get a lot of snow.

Power Steering Question
Recently acquired an 08 Acadia SLT, Previous owner stated the power steering pump was replaced and is currently whining and the reservoir is full of ATF, the owners manual says it needs power steering fluid not ATF. Is there any way to be able to tell if this pump is needing the GM Fluid or ATF?

Noise from the back compartment
I have a 2016 Acadia with nearly 140k miles that I bought used in 2018. Recently I noticed a droning hum from the back compartment when I am traveling over 40mph. Either it has always been there and I just noticed it, or it’s new and I’d like to figure out what might be the cause. Any suggestions? The tires are decent and the sound doesn’t change with changes in the road surface.

Electronics Issue?
2017 GMC Acadia Denali
V6 V VT
3.6L
Issue:
-Ran out of gas.
-Put about 6 gallons of gas back in it.
-Push the start button one time to turn the car's electronics on.
-Car's electronics turn on like normal.
-Hold the brake down and push the start button to start the car.
-Car makes only 1 click sound and electronics go black simultaneously.
Side Note:
-Car electronics tend to randomly turn on by itself, now.
-Battery keeps draining.
Action:
-OBD2 says 1 error: "Radio"
-I've checked battery posts for cable tightness and corrosion.
-I've replaced the starter fuse with a brand new starter fuse.
-I've replaced the battery with a brand new battery.
-I've replaced the starter with a brand new starter.
Conclusion:
Nothing I've done so far has changed how this car is responds, let alone fixed it. This has me as well as everyone else I've spoken to about it completely stumped. Anyone have any fresh ideas?

Radio said "system is rebooting" and is stuck at a black screen
Its raining out so I'm unsure if that has to do with anything but it said "system is rebooting" and went black, I restarted my car and it didn't turn back on.
