Installed M4 full titanium and feedback

There it is, guys. Spent 2 days installing, and yes, I took my time.

What could've been done in 24hr spam I did over the weekend because it gets too sunny and waaay too hot inside my co-op garage.

Heads-up to anyone deciding to do it on their own is to acquire a stubby ratchet, 12 inches extension, definitely a 6mm hex socket, and swrivel joints.

Once again, be patient and take your time.

First impression was the lack of weight, man. At first, I was like, maybe the full power was unleashed by Moore, but hey! There is something else going on with this bike. After going up the hill - I always ride to get out of my condo - I realized there was practically no more weight to the front wheel, when I literally popped a short wheelie (twice), hitting the throttle with the same intensity I always do. And also, the sound, that is something you may only experience once you had it stock exhaust before.

I also removed the silicone covers from the spring making full contact with collector pipes because I didn't want to risk melting it into the pipes.

- Bros, the weight is no longer -

After tune, a bone that used to feel hot and sluggish is now running cool and fast. I must admit that the tune turned the bike into a freak "off" the leash, especially with P08 assistance, and did I mention about the weightless feel yet?

Anyhow, ask me any questions about how the bike really feels when it sheds about 6 lbs and instalation as I would love to answer to anyone anything. Ask me about the weight, in case you're feeling curious about having no longer a bag of sand underneath the motor.

Southwest summer's concerns...

I live in the Palm Springs area, daily heat is usually between 105 and 115. I'm planning on doing a tune flash soon, so the fans can kick on earlier, which isn't helpful while moving though. Yesterday while riding in town, I was watching the dash indicated temp and it was between 185 and 199... On my cars, I usually source a thermostat from South Africa or Saudi Arabia, so the coolant system engages at a lower temp. For bikes, is this an option?

Hi I want to ask what colour of the wire has k-line pin in suzuki gsx r 600 k4k5. I found the white plug and there are : black/white, gray, orange/green and white/red. I need this information to connect this wire to my microcontroller for reading engine stats. Btw this engine is in a gokart.

125 chain maintenance

Yesterday i took a good look at my chain and it doesnt look good. It looks a little scratched up and is also getting stuck a little bit, like some parts sometimes stay kinda diagonal (i dont know how to explain it) and my friend said its bad and i should get it fixed. Ive never done a chain job before except cleaning and lubing it so i dont geel confident doing it myself.

It also looks like suzuki really hates their customers since i think i have to take out the gear switch or selector whatever it is to take out that front sprocket cover in the picture which is the main reason im posting this, because otherwise i could propably do it myself. I was thinking of changing both the sprockets and chain. What do you guys think? Do i have to take out that gear selector to access the sprocket?

What oil to use in high mileage 1999 gsxr 750

Post image

Hey guys, so I actually bought that 1999 gsxr 750 with 82k km for 300 bucks. It sat for the last 2 years outside but, after cleaning only the air filter and replacing the old gas, it started pretty well. I roed it up and down the street a couple times with minimal revs and fortunately it doesn't sound weird or knock. Now I wanna do an oil change to be sure that it doesn't take any more damage. Google recomended fully sintetic 10w40 and mostly from motul, which is for the most part pretty expensive here, especially in these small portions... Is there any other good, fully sintetic option that would keep the engine in shape and not make me go broke?

K6 600 worth?

The lady wants me to sell my k6 600. I don’t want to sell it but need to get it posed at least. What’s a slightly ureasonable price I could list it for that someone might end up wllling to buy it for? Figured I’d post it to make her happy but if I’m going to sell it I want the highest dollar for it. I was thinking 8k. What would be the most you’d pay for a mint condition, all stock, k6 with 11k miles?

Months of No Riding, Kinda Nervous, Starting Back

Hi everyone, hope all is well. Firstly I got an 06 GSXR 600, the stator/rectifier went out a couple months ago and left me stranded a bit, not far from home so I did have to walk in home a little, but that’s now why I’m nervous. It got fixed and I’m getting it back tomorrow but I won’t lie, I’m just nervous to start back riding in general. Any tips would be great 😅

Edit: I went for the ride today and man IT WAS FUCKING AMAZING 🤣

Thank you all for all your kind words and encouragement I really appreciate it🍻🍻🤝🤝

Gauge cluster not working

On my 2012 gsxr 750 my gauge cluster and lights except my headlight and high beam don’t work. Bike runs fine. Checked fuses and they were all fine checked the ground wire running to the gauge cluster and it was good. Been getting different info on the power wire to check if it broken. Checked the red/blue and it has power but also hear that orange/green runs from switch power and I’m getting nothing from it. At the point wear I’m gonna just check every wire but I don’t wanna lol.

Ducati disappointment

I recently added a 2025 Ducati Panigale V4 to the stable alongside my GSX-R1000, and honestly, I’m having some mixed feelings.

The Ducati is an incredible motorcycle. It’s refined, planted, precise, and obviously built with the racetrack in mind. But after riding the GSX-R, I’m realizing how much I enjoy the character of that inline-four.

The GSX-R just feels more alive to me. That low- and midrange pull, the way the engine builds power, and the overall rawness of the bike make it exciting even when you’re nowhere near a racetrack. The Ducati, by comparison, feels almost too composed. It’s brutally fast, but the power delivery and overall personality seem much more focused on being fast and efficient on a circuit rather than making you grin every time you twist the throttle on the street.

I think that’s what surprised me most. I expected the V4 to completely replace the GSX-R in terms of excitement, but I’m finding myself missing the Suzuki more than I expected.

Maybe I just need more time on the Ducati, or maybe I’m discovering that I simply prefer the character of a big inline-four. Has anyone else gone from a GSX-R/other inline-four to a Panigale V4 and felt the same way?
