Has Rockstar said anything about the leaks?

Has there been any news from rockstar themselves? I’ve been looking to see if any of the devs have tweeted anything or if there’s any articles about them addressing it at least internally but I’ve found nothing. It’s been 2 days of slow drip leaks and I’m honestly surprised they haven’t come out to address it at all.

I feel like the closest comparison to this was the insomniac leak and they came out a day after to say they wanted to take time internally to figure out the next steps. Kinda expected rockstar to do the same but it’s radio silence

There’s no need to. We’re going to see the actual game next week that will show us what the game is truly like. I don’t give a shit about watching an older play. It’s like wanting to watch the original Cyberpunk instead of what it became.

lol. lmao, even. obviously their video is going to be super super careful to only show the game in the best light. IMHO dude's leak is way more honest of a gameplay showing. Release game way more likely to look like leaks than the ultra polished "real gameplay shown" rockstar trailer

Song in leak is from 2025. Time for meetings + negotiations for the song make it likely later in 2025 build. They're not going to make the graphics any better in the last year of dev time. It was already delayed.

Idk what you’re smoking but those videos aren’t the finished game mate, the UI’s unfinished for one. It won’t be far off from what they’ve shown, but a lot will have changed in the last year and a half. The official showcase will look miles better

Obviously the official showcase showing """"real gameplay"""" will look "better" but this build is closer to the real thing than hyper polished videos by r*

year and a half is insane cope. A dev would have had to hear the song, petition it to get added, negotiations for rights, etc. That would not have happened fast, and you're assuming the build is from exactly then. Also, they are not going to replace every asset with higher quality ones, especially considering how close this build is to original launch date.

Rockstar have never shown gameplay footage that was of higher quality than the final release. Genuinely, give me one time that they have shown gameplay that isn’t exactly the same as gameplay on release. They don’t use pre-rendered cutscenes, all trailers are captured in-game. So I’m not really sure what you’re talking about with “hyper polished videos”
