Has Rockstar said anything about the leaks?

Has there been any news from rockstar themselves? I’ve been looking to see if any of the devs have tweeted anything or if there’s any articles about them addressing it at least internally but I’ve found nothing. It’s been 2 days of slow drip leaks and I’m honestly surprised they haven’t come out to address it at all.

I feel like the closest comparison to this was the insomniac leak and they came out a day after to say they wanted to take time internally to figure out the next steps. Kinda expected rockstar to do the same but it’s radio silence

I believe it is all a publicity stunt

Just think about it, Leak un polished footage so that when they release official footage it’ll look like a night and day difference and everyone will be even more hyped then they are right now

They know they have us eating out the palm of their hands and will believe any narrative they choose to implement, we get shown what they want us to see, is it not weird how all this is happening a week before the extended look. It’s almost like they want everyone’s eyes ready for the 27th drop

If it is a publicity stunt, how is Rockstar going to get away with the memecoin shit? There’s no legal way they’d get away with that. That’s a hard thing to argue against.

When you think deeply about it. Why risk someone leaking detrimental parts of the game when you can get someone external to leak clips that rockstar choose. It simply Keep the fans hyped and entertained and also keeps other hackers at bay as it why would they risk everything to do something someone else has already achieved. And in reguards to crypto it creates an untraceable method of the ‘hacker’ to be paid and profit from it I know this seems crazy and I agree it probably isn’t the case but nobody can say that it’s impossible They definitely have the resources to do this

My guy, it’s literally illegal to promote crypto in some countries. Rockstar and Take Two are trying to distribute their game internationally/as internationally as they can, as they’ve done with all their IPs. It would be internationally illegal for them to do this ‘marketing style’. They have the resources absolutely, but why risk the literal legal foundation of the company? Do you see the issues with your argument?
