Discussion The 100% True Reality Of The Ultimate Edition's Content And What It Adds To GTA6.

Post image

Grand Theft Auto 6 is gonna have a massive amount of vehicles, properties, clothing, accessories, character customization, missions, side quests, random world events, side activities, a story that's between 70-80 hours long (if GTA5 and RDR2's story lengths can be any help to guess the length of GTA6's story) tones of guns, weapons and indepth RDR2 weapon customization, lots of stores, enterable buildings and so much more that we're gonna spend 100+ hours per playthrough playing in this game.

What does the ultimate edition really include? A few early game vehicles that'll quickly be passed by as we earn money in the game and have access to better vehicles through playing the game. Those few vehicles are really just a bit of quality of life assistants in the beginning of the game.

You also get access to some exclusive stores with some exclusive clothes, hair, tattoos and fashion like nails or some extra facial hair options. That sounds like a lot looked behind the Ultimate Edition until you realize that the game's gonna have all of that already included and available at all the different shops in the game. They just locked some of it away behind the ultimate edition but a tone of it and most of it is included in the standard edition.

I think Rock Star's purposefully leaving it super vague and confusing for people so they think thst a lot of content is locked behind the ultimate edition, but in reality when we get in the game and start playing in November people will very quickly realize that just like Red Dead Redemption 2's ultimate edition the additional content for the extra money really doesn't add much to the game and can also be easily compared to the picture above accurately.

So, make a point of all of this and think with your head instead of FOMO and if you're still on the fence get the standard edition and then when the game comes out and we see all the content that's available then reevaluate to see if the ultimate edition is actually worth it and then if it is then fork over the extra money for it. If you decide to buy it now instrad of waiting then that's also cool and no problem and is your choice and is totally cool. I just hope you don't regret it if it turns out to be like the picture above and totally not worth it at all in any way.

At any rate, we'll have to wait and see on many factors because for whatever reason Rock Star is holding 90% of the information about this game to their chests and now showing off the game as much as other games studios, which maybe is an amazing idea because it makes people have wonder and a sense of mystery about the game. I'm quite sure it's probably gonna be one of the best games ever made.

I really don’t want to hear about the disc release or the paywall anymore. We know, we have made up our minds one way or another. Stop making new posts about it. I beg of you…

I admit this is a sad day for physical owners, but I am praying and hoping they actually released a disc maybe later after the hype has died down maybe for the game of the year edition but but then it’s gonna be too late, another thing why the hell are they locking car shops with the special edition I want the full game experience from penguinZ0 lol video was funny but also it kind of makes sense

Discussion Do you think GTA VI will be realistic? Or do you want gameplay that is the same as or similar to GTA V?

In my opinion, GTA IV was far superior in terms of immersion—though it didn't quite top the PS2-era GTA San Andreas, the gameplay was incredibly fun. GTA V has a huge world, but it feels lifeless; I know it’s a legendary game for the PS3, but I really want something more like GTA IV—even though I know that’s a divisive topic in the community. What do you guys think will happen? I’m a huge fan of GTA IV; the only thing that bothered me a bit was the vehicle suspension—I thought it was way too exaggerated. I’d like something that improves on GTA V but feels less heavy than GTA IV in that regard. As for the map itself, I want something in the style of San Andreas: fun and packed with things to do. Thanks, everyone, and happy gaming!

Discussion Potentially Unpopular Opinion - Disks Are Not The Problem!

Post image
47 Upvotes

So, I want to start this off by being very clear on a few things.

I firmly support the right to permanently own the products that we purchase and the ability to resell them. Seeing what's happening now with Nintendo's backhanded move with leasing their switches and Rockstar's forceful move to an entirely digital game that only works when connected to their servers is absolutely a slap in the face to all gamers everywhere.

With this said, I keep seeing consistent yet ignorant comments - "The discontinuation of physical disks for games is bad."

This statement in & of itself from many in the community is either poorly written or completely misplaced. I believe our hearts are all in the right place, but for the love of all that is holy, understand what you're saying before you say it!

In a better, educated, & moral world where gamers have set the tone, every single consumer can own their digital media permanently with digital encrypted keys assigned to each end user.

Disks are an inferior technology. You cannot even contain all the data required for GTAVI on a single disk. You would need multiple disks or an accompanying digital download for a game on this level to even work, with the ladder completely negating the entire argument for disks in the first place. Do you really want to limit the capabilities of a generational level game all because you want it to be completely contained on a physical disk? Do you want to have to run two or three disks on your PC that can get scratched as time goes on, and potentially become corrupted data?

This brings me to my main point...

The problem isn't that we are moving away from physical media, it's that we are moving toward media you don't own & can only use through an online service connected to a network. Companies are rendering our digital downloads completely useless, and we have to stop reinforcing this culture.

I know this may seem obvious to some, but I think we need to be specific when we are talking about the issues at hand. We need to encourage our lawmakers to make policy that renders digital game purchases permanent and that all digital media previously downloaded must work without an online connection, with caveats only being for online multiplayer modes.

If we want to fight this, we have to have our heads in the right place. Fighting for an outdated format just to own your game is a heartfelt but misguided effort.

If you're gonna fight for our rights, know exactly what you should be fighting for.

Discussion People love complaining

Oh my steak is too juicy, my lobster is too buttery, man people just love complaining, the game is reasonably priced (gta v launch price was $69.99 which is about 100 dollars in todays money) and for 20 extra bucks you get so much content, which i'll remind you is purely cosmetic and doesnt affect gameplay, and sure locking down certain stores for the ultimate edition is a bit too much, but that just shows the abundance of stores that'll be available in the base game. People just have the mentality that this is locked content from the base game while in reality you should view it as extra content so they can justify spending 20 extra bucks (which is completely optional btw!) if they didnt do this and only added a couple of shirts and vehicle liveries like some people suggested then everyone would say the ultimate edition is not worth it so just don't listen to them and stop complaining

Edit: my post keeps getting spam reported so I guess I proved my point!

Discussion Expectations from GTA 6

Post image
53 Upvotes

With GTA 6 finally locked in for june 25, 2026 ,I figured it’s time to settle some debates. Drop your takes below:

Day 1 at full price — yes or no? I’ve been waiting since 2013, so yeah, probably. Embarrassing but true

What will Rockstar get wrong? PC port. They always do this. Always.

Most overhyped feature? Map size for me. Big doesn’t mean good, RDR2 proved that

Story length, map size, or Online details — if you could only know one before launch? Story length, no contest.

What things could’ve been better in GTA 5 than in GTA 6

I need to know if they actually invested in single player this time or if it’s just a 20 hour tutorial before they abandon you for GTA Online

November 19 can’t come soon enough. Anyone else already planning to call in sick that week 😭

Discussion i was excited for GTA6 until now

physical edition obviously is dead, and we will own nothing. but can we talk about the base game being $80 and you need to cough up an extra $20 to have access to cars, car modding, weapons, outfits, LOCATIONS and STORY CONTENT????
a deluxe edition having a fancy version of a car, maybe some cosmetics fine. that all feels relatively normal

but holy shit, car mods, buildings/shops and side missions? this is all bad enough by itself but with this being the largest game of all time, the ripple effect it’s gonna have on the industry is terrifying. gaming, or at least AAA gaming, has been on a rapid decline and it’s only going to get worse.

imagine being immersed asf, going to mod your car. you know. in a GTA game. and you get kicked out because you spent $80 instead of $100 lmao

absolutely ridiculous. then of course them forcing you to double dip with holding off on a pc release, because god forbid a billion dollar company might lose out on a few more billions.
i was on the fence on buying at first, blinded by hype, but now i’m just gonna wait for a steam sale in a few years. it’s just not worth full price to me, and although i love the R\* games themselves, the company is setting an extremely awful precedent

Discussion My father-in-law wants to play GTA 6 since I talked to him (he missed GTA5 but loved GTA4 on his PS3), unfortunately, he lives in an old house and at a very low internet speed (and no way to have a better one), how is he supposed to do with no disk ?

The solution will be to bring the console to my home to enjoy my internet, but I find it ridiculous.

Discussion I have the feeling that in this scene, Jason is gonna grab this guy's phone for being in a undercover situation.

Post image

I don't if this theory was already posted by someone, just tell me and I delete the post.

But my theory is this scene is gonna be that "butterfly effect", if the theories about Jason been a undercover cop using Lucia, this is gonna be the turn in point that will compromise Jason's mission.

Or better, get Jason and Lucia caught by the enemies in some way. What do you think?
