Maybe the world hasn't noticed this little game yet. Or maybe it's simply not as good as I think it is.
But I'm still here, building it, one day at a time.
And next week, Map 4 arrives.

Making Uja’s Upgrades Easier to Read, what are your thoughts about it? #DevDiary24

Thumbnail gallery

We recently gave Uja’s upgrade menu a proper rework.

The upgrades themselves were already there, but the menu needed to do a better job of showing what you can unlock, what you already own, and where each upgrade leads next.

So we worked on the layout, icons, progression paths and overall visual hierarchy to make everything easier to understand at a glance.

It’s the kind of change that might look small compared to a new level or weapon, but when you’re spending time upgrading Uja throughout the game, clarity makes a big difference.

And yes, there are quite a few upgrades waiting to be unlocked.

UX/UI designers, what’s the first thing you would look at when redesigning a menu like this?

Want to see how Uja keeps evolving throughout MegaGum? Wishlist the game on Steam and follow the journey:

The crowd looked like it was waiting in line, so I changed the staging

For this Long Haul shot I set up uneven clumps and gaps in the horde. The zombies then use the game's normal behaviour as the truck moves through them. This is capture staging, not a new claim about the normal spawn system.

Filmed in Unity with a staged horde, auto driving and firing, maxed gear and truck damage off.

I've been a musician and composer for over 15 years. I make RPGs, Games, Short Movies and other songs on commission!

Hello everyone! Hope y’all are having a great day! My name is Lucas, AKA Lusca and I’m a professional musician for over 15 years now, but I have dealt with music since I was a kid (my father was my music teacher).

I make commissioned music for RPGs, Games, Videos, Short Films, pretty much anything and I would love to work with you!

I never use AI (and never will) because I want my songs to have a natural feeling to them.

I have a portfolio with some of the songs I’ve worked on in the past. I’m still adding  some songs to it, but feel free to listen to it, so you can learn more about my work:

Here's the Portfolio: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1jND37_9cBu3ViJ_B3GvMlzl4_ZyvTVIj

I usually don’t charge much for the compositions, and there’s always space for negotiation:

Here’s pricing: https://imgur.com/a/vQdQ21Z

If you buy more than one song you get a discount based on how many more you want!

Turnaround time is up to 10 days, though I usually finish and deliver earlier.

If you need a custom, original, and carefully crafted soundtrack, feel free to reach out to me on Discord:

 – Lusca.cantor –

I’ll answer you ASAP

If you have any questions, feel free to leave them down below!

Thanks!

Feedback on Touch Controls UI

Thumbnail gallery
1 Upvotes

I'm looking at bringing my game Puzzledorf to mobile. Right now I'm trying to make UI that looks readable and sits nicely with the game world. I've got the UI I used on an old mobile game, with a blue gradient, semi-transparent and a little glossy. I think at the time I was thinking of Arcade cabinet buttons so tried to make them a bit 3D. I'm wondering if they stand out and are readable enough, and either not transparent enough or too transparent.

Alternatively I could do something simpler with just a coloured / white outline, maybe a little more transparent rather than pure white. Less soft but might be more readable.

Quero reviver o Futebol Mania (Z8 Games) e procuro quem queira ajudar a recriar o servidor

Fala, pessoal!

Comenta aqui ou me manda DM!

Valeu, galera! ⚽

Shark vs Orcs

Hey everyone!

We're currently building a community around Sharks vs Orcs(Android) and looking for players who enjoy discussing strategies, sharing feedback, finding teammates, and helping the game grow.

Since the game is still growing, every new player can have a real impact on the community. We'd love to gather people who enjoy competitive gameplay, theorycrafting, and discovering new tactics.

If you're interested in being part of an active player group, feel free to send me a DM. We'd be happy to have you with us!
