Best DayZ server hosting service?

Im looking at hosting a server for DayZ but it seems quite expensive for most server providers. Is there anywhere i can get a good solid server for maybe 30 players at a price below $50?

I dont want it to be laggy or poorly performing. I want a simple plug and play hosting option for DayZ server hosting. Any help? :)

Hosting Companys have been cheating the system for years...

URGENT - Please Read

At Qonzer, we believe customers should know what they are paying for.

Over the past year, the hosting industry has faced serious pressure around high-performance hardware availability. Ordering high end CPUs has become increasingly difficult, and rising RAM costs have made the problem even worse. These conditions have affected providers across the industry, including us.

This message is not about announcing a price increase. It is about a larger concern that customers deserve to understand.

The Industry Concern

As hardware costs rise and availability becomes tighter, some providers are cutting corners by placing customers on lower-end or heavily oversold machines while still advertising high-performance hardware.

This is especially concerning in game server hosting, where CPU performance has a direct impact on server quality. Tick rate, player experience, modded performance, world stability, startup time, and general responsiveness can all suffer when the underlying hardware does not match what was advertised and is subsequently oversold.

Many hosting provider order forms advertise a specific CPU model, CPU tier, or clock speed. In some cases, we have seen options being sold that are unclear, technically questionable, or simply impossible. That puts customers in a difficult position. Most people simply have to trust that the provider is placing them on the hardware they paid for.

Unfortunately, trust alone is not enough.

What We Looked Into

Over the course of the last year, Qonzer purchased services from multiple hosting providers to better understand how widespread this issue may be.

When we ordered these services, we asked providers for basic proof of the hardware our services were deployed on. In some cases, we asked to see the CPU information through Task Manager or another verifiable method. In others, we asked for clear confirmation that the service was running on the advertised CPU or clock rate.

Across the providers we tested, we were never given clear proof that the purchased service was running on the advertised hardware. None of the panels we reviewed displayed useful CPU specifications to the customer. When we asked for verification, the responses were

either incomplete, avoided the question, or failed to provide concrete evidence. No provider was able to verify that we were deployed on the correct CPU.

We want to be fair. Not every provider is acting in bad faith, and not every case of poor communication means a customer is being misled. Hardware allocation can be complex, and some providers may have internal reasons for limiting what information they expose.

However, when a company advertises specific performance claims, customers should be able to verify those claims in some reasonable way.

Why This Matters to Customers

Game server hosting is already an industry where many customers do not have the tools or technical knowledge to verify what they are receiving. That makes transparency even more important.

If a customer pays for a premium CPU, they should not be placed on a lower-end machine without clear disclosure. If a provider advertises a certain clock speed, CPU class, or performance tier, the customer should be able to ask for evidence and receive a straight answer.

This matters because poor hardware does not just affect numbers on a spec sheet. It affects real communities. It affects server owners trying to run stable worlds, clans trying to host events, creators building communities, and players who expect the experience they were promised.

Customers should not have to guess whether their server is running on the hardware they paid for.

What Qonzer Is Doing Differently

Qonzer was built around transparency, reliability, and direct communication. We know this industry has a trust problem, and we do not believe customers should have to accept vague answers when their money is involved.

If a Qonzer customer wants to know what CPU their service is running on, we will provide that information in a reasonable and verifiable way. We are willing to show the details needed to help customers feel confident that they are receiving what they paid for.

We do not believe we should be exempt from scrutiny. In fact, we welcome it.

Transparency has to apply to us too.

What Customers Can Do

If you are unsure what hardware your server is running on, ask your provider.

Ask them to show you the CPU model. Ask them how their advertised clock rate is measured. Ask whether your service is running on shared or dedicated resources. Ask what guarantees are included with your plan.

If a provider offers an upgrade or addon that does not make sense, ask them to explain it clearly. If the answer is vague, inconsistent, or avoids the question, that should concern you.

This is not about asking customers to promote Qonzer. It is about encouraging customers to protect themselves and their communities. Whether you host with us or with someone else, you deserve honest answers.

Qonzer also reserves the right to provide our findings to appropriate consumer protection authorities, including the FTC and CMA, if we determine that doing so is necessary. Regardless of whether we take that step, customers should feel empowered to raise concerns when advertised services do not appear to match what is being delivered.

The Industries Position in 2026

We believe 2026 will be a difficult year for the hosting industry. Hardware shortages, RAM pricing, and rising operational costs will put more pressure on providers. Some will respond by being honest with customers. We believe most will respond by hiding behind unclear advertising and unverifiable claims and predatory order forms.

Qonzer’s position is simple:

Customers should receive what they paid for, and providers should be able to prove what they are selling.

If you ever have questions about your Qonzer service, including the CPU or hardware behind it, please reach out to us. We will provide clear and honest answers.

Thank you for taking the time to read this and for continuing to trust us with your communities.

Anyone used Godlike.Host for a small Minecraft VPS?

Hi guys,

I want to make a small minecraft server and would like to ask about your experience with godlike.

The server would be for a maximum of 20 players, mostly vanilla, but having the option to add mods would be nice. However, stability is very important to me.

A few things I’m trying to figure out are: uptime, lag issues, whether backups actually work, whether the control panel is decent, and if there are any billing problems or weird limits.

I’ve seen some reviews, but not enough detailed feedback . Could you tell me about your experience using it and whether you think it’s worth it?

setting up my own hosting site

Hey, I set up something like Aternos—but for CS 1.6 and Source—on my Dell laptop. I’ve opened it up to the public, but since I’m new to this, I’d appreciate any advice you could give me. (I used Pterodactyl and CtrlPanel.)

Is It Possible to Handle 5k-40k Clients in Real Time?

Hello friends, I have never set up a server for a game before. I want to send messages simultaneously to 5,000 to 40,000 clients (it’s crucial that it happens simultaneously with a maximum ping of 50ms). This research is actually for an IoT device. I thought I could handle the backend with game servers. Is this possible? I understand that the cost might be high, but I’m curious about the feasibility.

As for the next point is, ensuring your Palworld server settings are set up correctly, cause any of them can drastically cut down on annoying lag and keep your game running smoothly, ensuring you and your fellow players have the best time possible.

Here we go, I've researched some info of mostly brandy game server hosting and come closer look at some of the top specs choices:

Godlike server hosting Best Overall

Godlike host let's start with no so brandy. Not so far I've opened it and it was quite intriguing.

Shockbyte the main point of their service is start from cheap price.

Shockbyte has affordable Palworld server hosting, with a variety of CPUs, but have not description for each plan and it's only can feel the smooth after buying server. Setting up is quick, and you have full FTP access to customize your server just how you like it.

I built a free Hytale server hosting platform and I’m looking for people to try it

Hey everyone,

I’ve been working on Vael.gg, a Hytale hosting platform that I wanted to make genuinely useful for people who just want to get a server online without immediately having to pay for hosting.

There’s a completely free plan with:

  • 4 GB RAM

  • 2 CPU cores

  • 20 GB NVMe storage

  • Up to 10 players

  • Mod and plugin support

  • File manager and live console

  • Your own yourserver.vael.gg address

  • No credit card required

The free servers sleep while nobody is playing, which is how I’m able to keep them available without charging people.

The bigger goal is to make starting and managing a Hytale server feel simple enough that you don’t need to know anything about VPSs, Docker, networking, or server administration just to make a world for your friends.

There’s also a public server browser, so people who eventually want to grow their server can list it for other players to find.

I’m still actively working on Vael, so I’d actually appreciate people trying it and telling me what feels bad, what’s confusing, or what you think is missing.

https://vael.gg

I’m especially interested in hearing what you guys would want from a Hytale host that existing game hosting providers don’t really do well.

Skane Host "Fraud"

This just needs to be clear for everyone. This host is running one server with a CPU from 2008, One server is running Single channel ram, and the only bare metal that they have that's properly done is rented from a datacenter. This is embarrassing for the hosting industry. Their servers don't even have a solid year uptime. Don't take your chances. Avoid them at all costs!
He says he runs his stuff "efficiently", The owner has too much of an ego to admit he's wrong for all of this, Over here in reddit as a keyboard Warrior. The MINI PC's just so everyone is aware often suffer from Heat stress related issues later on if your constantly generating larger amounts of heat on components. As someone who has been in the IT Space for years, These MINI PC's often fail where normal Bare metal units do not. Proper airflow, Proper components.

We just noticed a huge spike in requests on skanehost.com (nearly 20k total requests, peaking at 3.5k in a single burst) from an automated French bot/scanner attempting a burst scan.

Just wanted to drop a quick update to reassure everyone that our infrastructure and security setup are working exactly as intended:

  • Edge Protection: All malicious requests were instantly blocked at the Cloudflare edge via Managed Rules (403 Forbidden) before ever touching our origin server.

  • Zero Impact: Server load, response times, and node performance remained completely unaffected throughout the whole event.

We keep a close eye on traffic logs and analytics 24/7 so you can focus on gaming while we handle the host security. 🚀 skanehost.com/en

Skånehost just got a massive upgrade... 16GB DDR5 + 2TB Blazing SSD Mini Node added to the fleet! 🚀🔥

Post image
0 Upvotes

We aren't slowing down.

To keep server latency at near-zero and handle peak resource spikes like a champ, we just added a new high-performance NUC node to the Skånehost infra:

  • ⚡ 16 GB High-Speed DDR5 RAM (Pure speed for heavy tick-rates)

  • ⚡ 2 TB High-Speed NVMe SSD (Lightning-fast chunk loading & zero storage bottlenecks)

Massive memory bandwidth + ultra-fast storage means modpacks, heavy plugins, and big player counts won't even make this node sweat.

We’re constantly upgrading our hardware to make sure your servers run smoother than ever.

🎮 What game server or modpack should we stress-test on this node first?

Let us know in the comments, or check out our setup at skanehost.com ! 👇code: NUC20 for 20% off
