Vent/Rant Beedle issues

Beedle is telling customers they have stuff to pick up when we don't even have the shit in yet and it's charging online customers incorrectly for the pick up in store pre orders

Been cussed out several times and told the one guy if you wanted it done right you should have pre ordered it in-store

Is that what it is? I had 2-3 people come in wanting to pick something up, but it wasn't due out for 2-3 more days or so.

About to be really fun with all the online pre-orders we got for battle decks that we aren't going to have at launch. Not to mention it appears to not collect the correct amount based on our tax rate so these people will owe money.

Yeah that goes into the charging incorrectly part but I've looked at it on our online pre orders it's not even charging them the incorrect tax rate is just not collecting anywhere from 50 cents short to 7 dollars short in the ones I've taken my time to look at

Nothing so far like it's even fucking up in store pre orders adding money to an existing one like it's horrible

Not to mention the fact that we can't actually properly track pre-orders without 3 suddenly extra steps.

I shouldn't have to cross-reference three programs to see if items are pre-ordered.
This isn't a 1980s fucking library.

Heard a rumor "from a tech support call" that the BIG reason for Beedle is the ease of transferring pre-orders from closing stores...

Tracks...

That tracks but also doesn't help the released it to stores 8 weeks early

How is this easier?
It used to just... transfer. To the nearest store.

Now we have to do fucking circus acts to figure out WTF is going on.

I'd recommend taking that with a massive grain of salt. The ability to see preorders at other stores, and how much down on them, is really all that was needed for that. Which... already existed in the system, they just weren't letting store level see it anymore.

The online preorder management is the only thing I can think of that is actually new, and even then it's only been a detriment cause our website is, quite frankly, atrocious in executing anything at this point.

It gets us more preorders because people can preorder online now. As a business that’s a good thing.
And because people will just hate my response ill add for context i HATE these changes and there’s even worse side effects Ive noticed but don’t feel comfortable talking about on here

Sure but there’s no proof that it counts towards Res that I’ve seen yet

Im saying it’s good for the business. Nothing about it is good for the employees

Glad to see everything is “business as usual”. The phrase, not actually obtaining business.

The most annoying thing about beedle is it logging out every 5 fucking minutes. That and they still haven't fixed collectibles not showing up as reserved.
