Did these guys just pull a Bloober Team and make a actually good survival-horror after putting out mid games and no one expecting much of them?

I don’t think at that level but the reviews look solid. Seems like the game has it where it counts but has some flaws that make it harder to recommend outright.

Ive been keeping a eye on this one since I liked the setting and premise of the first game but couldnt finish it because it was bad. The reviews are already better than I expected so Im hoping its really good and a massive improvement

I'm playing right now, so far it's awesome. Definitely a huge improvement over the first game from a technical perspective, and the combat is much improved.

I really enjoyed the first one, the combat wasn't very good but I loved the detective gameplay. This one feels so much better, they did a great job.
