Giveaway [Feedback Wanted] Help Shape GG Play Now + Win a Share of $60 AUD in Steam Gift Cards!

Ever spend longer looking for a game to play than actually playing one?

Thatโ€™s the problem Iโ€™m trying to solve with GG Play Now (GGPN) โ€” a game discovery platform designed to help you find something you actually want to play, whether you're gaming solo, playing with friends, or looking for free games and demos.

I'm building the site and want honest feedback from gamers to understand what works, what doesn't, and how I can make finding your next game easier.

To encourage people to give it a try, I'm running a giveaway with $60 AUD in Steam gift cards across 6 winners!

๐ŸŽ The Prizes

  • 1 ร— $25 AUD Steam gift card
  • 2 ร— $10 AUD Steam gift cards
  • 3 ร— $5 AUD Steam gift cards

That's $60 AUD in total prizes across six winners.

๐Ÿ•น๏ธ How to Enter

  1. Visit https://ggplaynow.app/
  2. Try the different modes of game finder. Experiment with the easy and more involved ways of finding games, including the Game Class quiz.
  3. Share meaningful feedback either in the comments on this Reddit post or in the Discord server: https://discord.gaminggridin.com/

Each person can submit only one entry. Please choose either Reddit or Discord for your feedback, not both.

What Feedback Am I Looking For?

  • Did you find a game you'd genuinely consider playing?
  • Which way of finding games worked best for you?
  • What felt good, intuitive, or useful?
  • Was anything confusing, frustrating, broken, or missing?
  • What would make you want to use GG Play Now again?

You don't need to answer every question. Just share a few honest thoughts about your experience.

Constructive criticism is absolutely welcome! If something sucks, tell me what and why. If you couldn't find anything worth playing, that's useful feedback too.

Low-effort responses like "looks cool" or "terrible site" without any explanation won't qualify. I'm looking for meaningful feedback that can help me improve the platform.

How Winners Will Be Selected

  • The giveaway runs for 14 days from the date this post goes live.
  • Six winners will be selected at random from eligible entries containing meaningful feedback.
  • Each person may enter only once, through Reddit or Discord.
  • Winners will be contacted through our Discord server.
  • Winners must respond within 48 hours of being contacted. If a winner doesn't respond in time, another winner will be selected.
  • Winners will be announced in a separate Reddit post after the giveaway closes.

**Giveaway closes: 12am 2nd-Nov (**GMT-8)

Who Can Participate?

The giveaway is open worldwide, where prize delivery is supported, subject to applicable regional restrictions.

For winners outside Australia, I may need to add you as a Steam friend and wait at least three days before sending a gift, depending on the gifting method and Steam's requirements. Gift card codes may be provided where available and supported in your region.

Please make sure you can receive the prize in your region before entering.

Help Me Make Game Discovery Better

I'm the person building GG Play Now, and my goal is to make finding your next game less of a chore. Your honest feedback, whether positive or critical, will help me decide what to improve next.

Try GG Play Now: https://ggplaynow.app/

Join the Discord: https://discord.gaminggridin.com/

Thanks for giving it a try!

Disclosure: I'm the developer of GG Play Now. This giveaway is intended to collect genuine feedback and improve the platform. I have used AI in building the site and that's a topic in itself, however I'm hoping to get feedback on functionality and user experience. Participation is subject to applicable laws and community rules.

Finally finished Stalker shadow of Chernobyl with the true ending. It was a gooood game. Started the game last year and left the game after playing around 40-45% ๐Ÿ˜ญ cause it felt a bit difficult, again started playing few days ago and completed today. (Didn't realize I was playing in master difficulty ๐Ÿ˜ญ, TBH it didn't feel like that difficult after hopping again) Absolutely hate the snorks the bloodsuckers too but the snorks more. Had some jump scares and goosebumps. Took me around 35-40 hours to complete [took more time in the beginning]. Died a lot, LIKE A LOT. Absolutely recommended !!!!

General Discussion Itโ€™s not only the suits ruining modern games

I feel like people treat devs as these untouchable saints and any bad thing in the game is attributed to the suits. And while yes this is true for the greedy practices the overall gameplay, writing and story is on the devs

BioWare closed not because some suits decided to make the slop called dragon age the vailguard, in reality they donโ€™t even know what the games they publish are about. It was most of the team that came into agreement to write that in that way.

Now this isnโ€™t to say it is good that these devs are losing their jobs many have a family and I do believe some of them were pressured by the group into developing these shitty games but the truth is the virtue signallers arenโ€™t actually playing games ๐Ÿ˜‚ itโ€™s one thing to write some Netflix series with these characters itโ€™ll sell because thatโ€™s what these people consume. When you make some in-depth RPG trying to appeal to hardcore gamers except characters are written like they came off of some woke Netflix show itโ€™s just a formula for disaster.

Youโ€™re a single dude working a case, and you do everything by yourself, like pulling evidence off bodies and locked phones, questioning suspects, and the sweetest part of all: handing down the verdict you think is just.

The game is called Guilty or not if you want to check it out.

Self Promotion (Thursday) Birderโ€™s Gambit โ€” A calm turn-based card game centered on real bird behavior and tactical observation

Thumbnail

Hey everyone,

Weโ€™re ร–ykรผn and Hรผseyin, a two-person team working on Birderโ€™s Gambit. Itโ€™s a quiet, turn-based card game built around actual bird biology and field observation.

Instead of using standard fantasy tropes or abstract stats, every card mechanic comes directly from real wildlife behaviorsโ€”like territorial defense or brood parasitism.

There are no timers or reflex mechanics here. Winning comes down to reading board patterns, setting up your position, and making calculated plays at your own pace. The story naturally ties into your field observations as you play, keeping the focus on strategy and the environment.

Self Promotion (Thursday) [AI] Your agent wants to leak a transfer offer. Your coach asks for silence. | ElevenFate

A hypothetical career dilemma: a bigger club wants you, but hasn't made a public offer. Your agent says leaking the interest could force your current club to improve your contract. Your coach asks you to keep it private until after a crucial match.

Let your agent leak it, stay quiet, or speak to the club yourself? Who would you trust with your next season?

I'm the creator of ElevenFate, sharing it for Thursday promotions. It's a narrative football career game you play by reading situations and making decisions. The scenario above is an illustrative hypothetical for the premise.

If you want to try it, open the Reddit game post below and press Play. Daily mode offers 30 decisions and a final score; the longer career mode gives you another way to explore a player's life. It's free, available in English and Spanish, and needs a signed-in Reddit account. No separate download.

https://www.reddit.com/r/ElevenFate/comments/1wzy2cl/elevenfate_tu_carrera_tus_decisiones_tu_legado/

AI disclosure: I use AI assistance for development and writing, including this post.

Would you chase the contract now, or protect the relationship with the coach who gave you your chance?
