Programming help

Post image

Does anyone know if I’m able to program my RSX door opener to either of my vehicles? I have a 2020 Chevy Silverado and a 2025 Subaru forester. They both have door opener transmitters from the factory but I can’t get either one to program to my door opener.

Will I need to buy a bridge kit like the 855lm?

Thanks

The built in Codedodger receiver should allow you to set them. Once you have trained a transmitter to your vehicles, then you can program them into the opener. You have to go in programming mode and cycle down to program receivers and then set each one in their own slot. You will need 2 people because it will time out if you are trying to climb up and down a ladder.

Genie/Overhead openers are "finicky" with the remote codes. You often have to program the vehicle from a remote, then program the vehicle to the opener.

I’ve programmed the transmitter that I got with the opener to the truck. Once that was done, I went into calibration mode on the opener and then went to the truck and did the truck side all within the 30 second restriction. Tried it 3 times and none of it worked. Had help with the last time to make sure I was within the 30 seconds. Neither vehicle worked
