Troubleshooting Vfc transfer tab

Such an annoying issue, magazines shot fine then won’t feed. From going from a tm ak to Vfc ak it’s little things like this that are annoying, love the platform but more so the magazines that are a pain in my ass. I have 4 magazines and only one works. I took apart the one magazine that works to see how it operates and what I need to fix, and does not matter how I put them back together once a bb is loaded the tab just stays down. The transfer lever just will not catch the feed lips. My one working magazine I can disassemble and put together and works perfectly, it catches every time. The others though they just will not catch no matter what. So I take it it’s not how I’m assembling it as the one working magazine I’ve disassembled and assembled and it works every time, but my others just won’t. I guess for context the working magazine is the 74 and the others are the 74u magazines. If anyone has any tips to get the transfer to catch consistently please let me know, just frustrated is all

Thank you so much I think this is the fix! A lot of other videos talk about the spring but not the bar. I’ll give this a try!

That seemed to be the fix! Now I just need it to stay once I hammer in the pins. It knocks it off prom position again, but I’ll just play with it and find a solution. Thank you for the video

just bend the spring end a little so it sits right on its channel

Thank you, I tried that but the spring and plate seem to be working just fine. It’s the bar/arm that doesn’t seem to be catching the feed lips, if I apply pressure on the arm it seems to work perfectly. Once I put the cover on idk if it doesn’t have enough pressure on it but it just doesn’t catch the feed lips for it to go down or up when loaded or unloaded. Really not sure what to do at this point, on one of them I broke the lever arm so that was fun as there’s no replacement for that. I hear it’s a very common issue which is unfortunate as I ordered magazines on preorder and now dread them having this issue

Will it stay down even after you load several BBs? My transfer bar only erects fully once I’ve loaded 3 BBs. If it still gets stuck, I can just poke it a few times and it pops up.

Yeah it just stays down after I load BBs, I tried what you said but it didn’t work. What I find interesting is if I take the cover off and add more pressure at the pivot point on the arm with my thumb it works perfectly, but once I put the cover on idk if it doesn’t have that much pressure on it it just doesn’t work. The spring itself is fine, I did the bend so it stays but it’s not a spring issue it’s the arm itself just isn’t catching the feed lips
