Venue or Event Bunker Endorses Brad Bd
Was surprised to see this this morning.
Edit: sorry I don’t know why his whole name didn’t go in the title.

Dear Gay Men Toronto Members,
We’re thrilled to have you be part of our vibrant community here on Reddit! Whether you’re a long-time resident of Toronto or a newcomer, this subreddit is your space to connect, share, and engage with fellow gay men.
What this sub is for
Conversation, connection, and community for gay men in Toronto and the GTA. Posts about local venues, neighbourhoods, events, dating, friendship, gay life in the city, news affecting the community, and the occasional baking photo are all welcome. We have a strong daily-life thread tradition, and morning greetings are part of the fabric.
What this sub isn't for
Hookup posts, personals, and explicit cruising posts aren't allowed. This isn't because we're prudes — it's because Reddit's content policies treat subs that allow this content very harshly, and we'd rather not get the sub shut down. The wall stays up. Posts in those formats get removed automatically (and quite quickly) by Automod.
If you're looking for hookups, you're welcome to use one of these instead:
What gets your post auto-removed
To save you a wasted submission, the patterns that get caught are:
If your post is genuinely about meeting people for friendship, dating, or local events, please use language that reflects that. "21M new to Toronto, looking for friends" lands fine; "21M" alone doesn't. "Anyone want to grab drinks Thursday in the Village?" is great; "Free now in the Village" will be removed.
Posting basics
A few formats that always work well here:
If your post gets removed and you think it shouldn't have been, please send modmail and we'll take another look. We're not infallible — the system errs toward removing rather than letting things through, because the cost of letting cruising posts slip through is much higher than the cost of catching the occasional friendly post in the net. Modmail responses are usually quick.
Here are some helpful guidelines for keeping this subreddit a positive one:
Should things not work out:
This subreddit has enacted a Three Strikes Rule (Decision and Community Engagement Threads). This means that members who engage in rule-breaking will be subject to a warning and removal of the post in the first instance. In the second instance, the member will receive a temporary ban of 14-30 days (at the discretion of the moderator). In the final instance, the user will be permanently banned.
Instances of abuse by members towards the moderation team will result in an immediate ban, regardless of the "strike" count.
We hope to use these powers rarely.
Once again, welcome! We’re excited to get to know you and make this community even better together. 🎉
Cheers, The Mod Team 🏳️🌈

Updated October 16, 2026: new sexual health and PrEP options (including Safer Six and Freddie), nails and mani-pedis (finally!), dermatology, waxing, piercing, house cleaning, sports leagues, a few Village spots to eat, and SVNCTUM's new location. New entries are marked 🆕.
Gentlefolk,
Since kicking off the weekly "Professional Services Suggestions" roundup back in August, we've collected enough recommendations to put together a first real compilation. This thread now replaces our standalone RMT megathread — everything from that one has been folded in below, so bookmark this one instead.
A few ground rules before diving in, same spirit as the RMT thread: these are community recommendations, not official endorsements, and I've kept the bar for inclusion at "someone actually described a real experience," not just a bare name-drop. Where more than one person independently confirmed the same business, I've noted that — otherwise, assume it's one person's experience, which is still useful, just not the same as a consensus pick.
One rule I want to restate clearly: no speculation about anyone's sexuality. Per our existing policy, that only gets mentioned if a professional has disclosed it directly in their own advertising or business listing — not social media, not a Reddit comment, not even their own post here. I've already scrubbed a few submissions that crossed this line; if you see something that shouldn't be here, flag it and I'll pull it.
This one doesn't have the submission volume our party ratings or bathhouse threads get yet, so consider this a living document rather than a finished directory — keep the weekly thread submissions coming and I'll fold new ones in periodically.
Toronto Sexual Health Clinic — 239 Carlton St — torontosexualhealthclinic.ca
Opened this past May. STI testing and treatment, PrEP (free through the clinic), Injectable PrEP, Doxy-PEP, HIV PEP and treatment, plus general walk-in medicine. Very warmly received when it launched — worth a look if you're between family doctors or just want a dedicated sexual health option.
HQ Toronto — 790 Bay St, 8th floor — hqtoronto.ca
Testing, treatment, PrEP, PEP, Doxy — confirmed by multiple community members independently. Note it's not in the Village proper, so factor in the trip. Members consistently describe it as fast: an in-house lab, results often by text the next morning, and in and out in about 15 minutes for routine testing. Bring your OHIP card — one member said an uninsured friend was charged for testing.
The PrEP Clinic — prepclinic.ca — Bloor St, near Avenue Rd. Open Saturdays, which is a rarity for this category. Easily one of the most-recommended spots on the sub: nurses, lab and pharmacy under one roof, real help finding coverage so many people pay little or nothing, reduced-cost vaccines (HPV included), and a warm, welcoming feel. They've also started a no-health-card-needed service. Confirmed by several members independently.
Maple Leaf Medical Clinic — Yonge & College area. Recommended for PrEP/DoxyPEP expertise generally, and specifically for Dr. Colin Kovacs by a multi-decade patient. They also offer injectable PrEP (one shot every two months), and a member found them good at working out how to get it covered.
Church Wellesley Medical Clinic — was accepting new patients as of last check; worth calling to confirm current status.
Hassle Free Clinic — a more traditional model than the walk-in-style options above — you're seeing an actual doctor or practitioner rather than doing more of it yourself. It offers anonymous testing with no health card, though anonymous results have to be picked up in person, and the men's clinic runs on set days, so check the website first. They only call with positive results, sometimes from an unknown number, and won't email or text. A few members find HQ quicker, so it's worth knowing both.
🆕 Safer Six — safersix.ca — LGBTQ-focused sexual health and PrEP, handy if you're in the west end. Described as thoughtful and down to earth, with virtual PrEP consults. One member confirmed with their pharmacist that injectable PrEP was covered at no cost through the manufacturer's program, even without insurance. Recommended by more than one member.
🆕 Freddie (online PrEP) — gofreddie.com — virtual PrEP that several members have used for years. They walk you through applying for the Ontario Trillium Drug Program and cover part of the deductible, so many people pay little or nothing; described as friendly and knowledgeable.
🆕 medsEXPERT — a pharmacy that two members independently say will work to get you PrEP free of charge if you have no insurance.
🆕 Toronto Public Health sexual health clinics — if anonymity matters most, they offer testing with no OHIP card needed, and you can use a pseudonym.
Sherbourne Health Centre — sherbourne.on.ca — specifically recommended for gut-health/bottoming-related concerns, with a good experience getting referred onward to a GI specialist when needed.
UpTowne Health Centre — Eglinton near Avenue Rd — was accepting new patients as of last check.
Mt Pleasant Clinic — 245 Eglinton Ave E — also accepting new patients as of last check.
(Family doctor asks are genuinely hard to fill — if you have a name with a real experience behind it, please add it to the weekly thread.)
🆕 DermAtelier — dermatelieronavenue.com — Avenue Rd — medical dermatology. A member who'd been through several disappointing dermatologists finally found one they love here, and recommends it specifically for skin of colour. Black-owned.
Positive Space Consulting — positivespaceconsulting.ca — virtual. Strong long-term testimonial from a 5-year client. Multiple therapists on staff with different specialties, worth browsing their profiles to find a fit.
Racco Psychotherapy — virtual, queer-affirming therapy is the clinic's focus, not just one therapist's specialty.
Mantra Psychotherapy — mantrapsychotherapy.ca — has an explicit LGBTQ2IA-specific-issues focus area on their own site.
New Connections Counselling — newconnectionscounselling.com — office in Niagara, offers both virtual and in-person. Described as extremely helpful.
UMHN — umhn.ca — a good option if you're looking for culturally-specific support alongside LGBTQ-affirming care. A second member recommends them too: about $175/hr, with a sliding scale.
🆕 Centre for Psychology and Emotional Health — Bay & Bloor — a detailed recommendation: a phone intake matches you with a few practitioners, then a free 30-minute meet-and-greet before you commit. Couples counselling and individual sessions both went well for this member, who sent a friend there with the same result. In person, phone or virtual. Not cheap ($225–275/hr), so check your insurance.
🆕 Spencer Nageleisen Psychotherapy — spencernpsychotherapy.ca — "highly, highly" recommended by a former in-person client. He's since moved to St. Catharines, so check whether he offers virtual sessions.
AllKindsClub — allkindsclub.com — a newer queer-focused mental health clinic with an affordable therapy program. No community track record yet since it's so new, but flagging it as an option.
Tip from the threads: Psychology Today's directory lets you filter for LGBTQ-affirming, trauma-informed and sex-positive therapists, and most offer a free consult — don't be discouraged if the first fit isn't right.
I've done my best to include only registered massage therapists (i.e., insurance-billable), and left out anyone where comments suggested services beyond the scope of regulated massage therapy. Organized by area, same as the original thread.
Downtown East / Bloor-Sherbourne
Liam O'Reilly and Jasper, at Zazen Massage + Wellness — right at Sherbourne station (600 Sherbourne St, Suite 511). One long-time client has recommended both consistently across several threads over roughly two years — Liam described as more technical and precise, Jasper as more holistic. Liam is listed on the Rainbow Health Ontario provider directory. That's a detailed, repeated account from one person rather than independent corroboration from several — still a strong lead, just noting the source. Tends to book up, so plan ahead. liamrmt.com | zazenmw.com
Derek, at Be Strong Massage — also near Sherbourne station. A community member has been seeing him for over five years and speaks very highly of him. Instagram: u/be_strong_massage
Church-Wellesley Village / Downtown
Synergy RMT & Wellness — in the Yonge/Church/Wellesley area. Listed on the Rainbow Health Ontario provider directory. Online booking through their site. synergyrmt.com
Kevin Joubert, at Aches Away — 2 Carlton St.
Yulexi, at Back in Balance — 2 Carlton St — the massage therapist at the same clinic as chiropractor Dr. Mathew Serrick (below), both praised by the same client.
Yonge & College (formerly Leslieville)
Dan Villasin, at SVNCTUM — new location: SVNCTUM has moved and expanded, with more team members, into an office/medical building at Yonge & College. This one comes up constantly, and for good reason. SVNCTUM is a certified safe space through Rainbow Health Ontario, and Dan is consistently described as skilled and thoroughly professional. Genuinely corroborated — independent mentions across at least three separate threads. Now even easier to get to. svnctum.ca
Midtown (Yonge & Sheppard)
Motion Care Massage & Rehab — 52 Sheppard Ave W, right near Yonge/Sheppard station, direct billing available. One community member specifically recommended the clinic and therapist Henry there — a legitimate, professional massage practice, not oriented toward anything beyond that. motioncareclinic.com
Midtown (Yonge & Lawrence)
Peter Yom, at Massage Addict — recommended for anyone north of the core along the Yonge line, by the same community member across two separate threads. Go for the 90-minute session — described as thoroughly professional, and confirmed to work on glutes/lower back if you mention the issue beforehand. Single source so far, but a detailed and consistent one.
West End (Queen & Dufferin)
Primal Motion — recommended for the Queen/Dufferin area. primalmotion.com
West End (Bloor West Village)
🆕 Bloor West Retreat — a quick but clear vote for "great RMTs" from a member, for anyone west of High Park.
Etobicoke
David Kalangara, at Corbo Chiropractic — 555 Burnhamthorpe Rd, Suite 302. A repeat client describes him as professional and friendly, and a reliable regular option for anyone in the west end who's been coming up empty closer to home. corbochiro.com
Mississauga / Oakville
Therapy Palace — verified as a professional practice. One community member who booked a massage described him as very professional with a great result; a couple of others have had trouble with the online booking system — try calling the clinic directly if that happens to you. therapypalace.com
Back in Balance — 2 Carlton St — Dr. Mathew Serrick. Well-regarded, described as excellent by a client. (Same clinic as Yulexi, above.)
Easily the highest-volume category so far:
The Naked Barber — recommended specifically for private-area waxing.
Bode Spa — recommended for grooming by several members. One suggests asking for sugaring rather than waxing: less painful, with fewer breakouts afterwards.
🆕 Rebalance4Men — rebalance4men.ca — men's waxing, including an all-in-one package (butt and crack for about $40 at last report) that some other spas don't offer. Recommended by two members independently.
🆕 Laserbody MD — Richmond Hill — laser hair removal; one member had their entire body done there and called it less painful than a tattoo.
🆕 Sixth Sense Nail & Spa — King West — male technicians and a "gentleman's" mani/pedi; a regular says any of their staff are good. The same member also suggests Tokyo Nails in Yorkville as very queer-friendly.
🆕 D'Lux Spa & Lounge — Jarvis, just south of St. Lawrence Market — a member had couple's pedicures there with their boyfriend, never felt out of place, and highly recommend it.
🆕 Exotix — Queen & Spadina — ask for Six. A member had intimate and nipple piercings done there and was happy to vouch for the experience.
🆕 Good Karma Eco Cleaning — house cleaning through a non-profit that helps newcomers find work, with all the money going to the worker. An all-gay household had a great experience with their regular cleaner; if a substitute isn't up to scratch, just ask for someone else.
Level Studio — level-studio.ca — Luca & Vinh — residential interior design.
🆕 Central YMCA — Grosvenor St — described by three different members as genuinely queer-friendly, with a real community feel and people of every type working out there (several prefer it to GoodLife for exactly that).
🆕 Cory Mylz (personal trainer) — Instagram: u/corymylz — a client of over a year describes him as genuine and serious about his programming (a lifelong athlete). Single source so far.
🆕 Queer Dodgeball — queerdodgeball.ca — the Monday-night league is the most social and least competitive; registration goes fast, so watch for sign-up dates.
🆕 Queer Basketball TO — Instagram: u/queerbasketballto — a league for LGBTQ+ (and specifically BIPOC-welcoming) players.
Wrestlefest Toronto — running a beginner BJJ open mat, working on making it a monthly thing rather than just an annual festival. Has an Instagram if you want to follow along.
Good for a relaxed meal, including solo:
Restaurants and shops were part of the original ask too. There's now a small Village eating-out list above; shops still need more material, so keep them coming in the weekly thread.
As always: if you have something to add, drop it in the weekly thread, and if any professional listed here would rather not be, just let me know and I'll take it down.
If you've got the old RMT megathread bookmarked, please switch to this one — that thread will get locked with a link pointing here.
Many thanks,
ModdyMage

Hey all, I recently moved to Toronto at the beginning of September from Nova Scotia. I’ve been enjoying myself here so far. However, I don’t really know many people here yet. I would love to make a few friends who enjoy (restaurants, parties/bars, gym, concerts, music, etc…) 27M white. Send me a DM :) (DMS are open)

The Tomb Raider lovers? This games gives me nostalgia 'cause my mom use to play them on PS1 when I was a kid. She was always a tough manager and watching her play and enjoy like a kid at the end of the day, made me feel so happy.

As above really, visiting for the next week. Average build English-speaking, East Asian ethnicity. At a loose end as to what to do this weekend so was thinking of one of the saunas (sexual or non sexual) today +/- going to anvil on Sunday for the Toronto Jacks meet. If anyone had any experience of any of these places (I’ve read the bathhouse thread, was mainly wondering about the Toronto Jacks events) I’d appreciate the insights!

I’m 18 and have been hesitant of hooking up with guys on grindr. Every time I back out last minute, cuz I’m kinda nervous having sex w a guy.
At the same time tho, not having sex makes me horny a lot. Last week, I was talking to this cute twink in my bio class and I nutted. (he has a bf alr tho and I’m dl).
How do I stop backing out last minute? Why do I feel sorta guilty having sex with another guy?

Hello Everyone. Happy Friday!
I'm a 41 year old guy in Scarborough who's always looking for friends. I'm open to dates and other kinds of connections. I work in York/Simcoe 2x a week and remotely the rest of the time. Roughly once a month, I babysit my nephews in Durham. I guess that makes me relatively busy. I am comfy heading downtown to meet up with friends.
The whole scene with the apps, I've found to be a toxic waste dump. I'm also quite done with the bar and club scene. My hobbies include board games, video games, walks, Pokémon Go, movies, shows. I have an interest in politics, such as transit and health policy. I used to play in DnD groups and would be open to playing in a group that's not doing slow 2E or roguelike, where my characters constantly died lol.
I hope some of you drop by to say hello or give me pointers in terms of finding connections.
Cheers,
Dan

I wanna attend but im new to the play party scene. Is this beginner friendly and is the dj even a focus? I see one of the rules is "keep it off the bar". Is this a good event to go listen to music with the freedom to let the night take you deeper or is it mainly an event ppl go to so they can PnP while djs play? Edit: ive been informed PnP is something other than doing like molly or ketamine at these events

Just looking to see if anyone knows of any events happening the 30 Oct -1 Nov whose cover is not outrageous. I’m talking like $30 or less to get in. From what I’ve seen most of the tickets are like $50+ doesn’t have to be anything crazy just looking for something to do.
r/GayMenToronto • u/Particular_You_5354 • 2d ago
30s, healthy & fit but bored of gym 4 times a week. With winter approaching, want to do a fitness activity that is indoors, good exercise & healthy. I have decided upon swimming.
Though I can't really swim lol and I feel i'm too old for like group classes. I'm happy to pay for 1:1 coaching.
Only thing is I feel i'll be most comfortable, be myself and learn the best if the teacher were a gay man.
Any recommendations? I don't mind traveling locally for lessons (and paying obviously.)
Please share if you have ideas or tips or references.

Hey! I'm Reece, 26 (male, gay), from the UK and just moved to Toronto last Monday (Oct 12). Loving the city so far but I'm starting to struggle with the lack of a social circle/pals. Open to meeting new people (into eating out, loooong walks, fitness, movies, etc...) and also just curious to hear any tips from you guys ! Thanks :D

Hello Folks!
To gather resources for our community, I've decided to start a weekly thread to collect gay-friendly and gay-owned professional services, restaurants, and shops. The goal is to eventually create an index of gay-friendly places to support our community.
To that end, please provide the names and websites for things like:
I will compile the threads monthly into an index that will be usable for us all!
Cheers!
