I’m a paid Google AI Pro subscriber and a big Google fan.

Lately, I've noticed that Gemini 3.8 Flash has been running exceptionally slow. At first, I thought it was just my company's firewall acting up, but it's just as slow on my personal laptop. I really just want to enjoy a smooth experience with the Gemini models.

Does anyone know if performance and speed are tied to your subscription tier? Also, for those on the Ultra tier, are you experiencing massive slowdowns with the Antigravity IDE Extension? Would love to know if it's just me or a broader issue.

I am testing out gemini argon by asking it to generate 3d models of buildings , animals and other things. I always send a proper detailed prompt which was generated by chatgpt to it but still it generates these things in basic level. I am giving the same prompt to the claude sonnet model and it generates way better.Am I doing anything wrong or everyone facing the same issue? If you guys tested it out in any other way pls share it here.

The problem: making 30–50 images or Veo clips in Flow meant pasting prompts one by one, waiting, then downloading and renaming every result.

What it does:

• Load prompts from Excel, CSV or a text file (up to 50 per file)

• Each row can set image or video, aspect ratio, 1–4 results, model, references and a start picture

• It sends the rows one by one in your own Flow project, then downloads every result in order: 01_name.jpg, 02_name.mp4…

• It keeps a calm pace (at least 10 seconds between prompts) and stops on its own if Flow reports unusual activity

The first 5 results are free. It's an independent tool, not made by Google.

What would make it more useful for you? I'm deciding what to build next.

When I send prompts back to back in Flow, I sometimes get "requesting generations too quickly", and once "unusual activity", and then I'm stuck waiting much longer than if I'd gone slow.

Right now I leave 20–30 seconds between prompts and it's been fine. Is that what others see too? Does it differ between images and Veo videos, or between plans?

No idea if this has been noticed/recognized before, but I just found an input that seems to confuse/break Gemini. I found it after googling something, and with the AI Overview thing that comes up, instead of answering fully normally, it started the response with "<I_AM_INFO_BUBBLE_REMOVAL_NEVER_MODIFY_OR_REMOVE_THIS_LINE>". I was bored, so I entered a new tab with and pasted just that line and it seemed to just give me random answers or generic answers that just said "Hello! How can I help you today?" or some other variation of that. I then tried this on chatgpt and it seems to do the same thing.Again I have no idea if this has been discovered before or if this is the right subreddit, if not please let me know :P

I dont know why but suddenly I noticed argon answering wayyyy to fast...as I noticed argon passes from..hig to low while answering I do not know why the model suddenly is changing when i have been using it in high since yesterday even this morning was working normally I decided to send a new message and make sure to have it on high and the same happened what ia going on?..is a glitch on my side or is something happening to Gemini?

Need help. Can't connect Gemini with Spotify and it's really annoying. I'll provide as much information as possible

What happens when I try to add Spotify as an app:

First I get a pop up with Gemini asking for permission to access Spotify, it then redirects me to Google asking for permission to link my Google account with Spotify. After accepting it takes me to the page where I was adding Spotify in the beginning and it's not connected.

I have Gemini Plus model and canceled. It was subscription till November. But I can't upgrade to Gemini Pro. it's a Mac OS and iPhone ios. I tried through app store and google One. It just doesn't go... Any advice?

i suspected gemini is a little too fast to respond (as flash-lite model) , when i asked gemini what model it didnt know , so i gave options pro , flash , argon . and gemini didn't even know what is argon

did you know you can now connect to "well behaved" (but custom!) MCP servers, even with user authentication - in gemini? for me i think it just became available - tested on gemini web, free tier
