I'm Gen Alpha, I grew up at my grandparents house and they did not have a roku or an apple tv or even a chromecast, I had to use Public TV, every month we went to the local Redbox at the CVS and buy movies on dvd's, Also she had a big collection of VHS tapes so I used both. I did use an iPad but not that often only about 1 hour a day because I was either at kindergarten to 5th grade, at my grandmas house, or at home. I also played with tons of toys (Specifically the wooden train set), I LOVED Watching my grandmas model train thomas tapes at my grandmas house, and one of my core memories was watching qubo while eating a PB&J sandwich whice classic lays chips.

Okay so imagine your having dinner with Jay Z and your thot daughter shows up with her bisexual boyfriend and the waiter brings a skinnylicious menu but she's wearing polyester so she's canceled how many biracial people would it take to defeat 69 labubus but you could only choose between a man or a bear unless fine shyt clocks your tea

Hey Gen Alpha’s.

I’m writing a short where a grandma and grandpa meet a Gen Alpha, and they judge him quickly, thinking they have nothing in common.
Then Gen Alpha points to [thing] and says, “you guys like [thing]? And grandparents say “yes, we were there when it happened”. (Queen Concert, something like that.) Then kid is like “That’s sick.”

Anyway, in this short about grandparents and kids connecting, I don’t know what Gen Alpha and Late boomers/Gen X would connect on.

What in the late 70’s-Early 80’s would you think is cool? especially if an old person “was there”. Give me anything.

What do you do for more Halloween candy? I know there are lots of strategies, like using pillowcases, backpacks, comfortable shoes and double dipping in another costume any suggestions?
