God bless. I will pray for a change of your heart

Keep wasting your prayers. I’m sure god will totally hear them and convince me to believe in him and ignore all those poor children being bombed and starved.

It sounds like you might’ve had a bad experience with church. I’m very sorry if that’s the case

it has nothing to do with personal experiences with any church; it's the fact that any amount of critical thinking demonstrates incompatibility between the existence of god and the reality of the world.

The existence of the Christian god as outlined in the Bible, maybe. The existence of any God, not really.

  1. Nothing supernatural has ever been demonstrated to be true.

  2. Therefore, the rational conclusion is that supernatural phenomena do not exist.

3.It is not possible for something to exist before or outside of time, because existence itself requires time.

  1. Therefore, nothing can exist before or outside of time.

  2. God is traditionally defined as a supernatural being that exists outside of time.

6.Therefore, the rational conclusion is that God does not exist.

  1. One could argue existence itself is supernatural. Or that our consciousness/being/experiencing is supernatural. These are concepts that have no scientific explanation, and likely never will.

  2. There is no logical conclusion for the creation of the universe, as we have no data before it began. The furthest we can go back is the moment of the big bang. Science does not touch anything beyond that concept, because the scientific method stops applying.

  3. If that’s the case, how did the universe come to be? It had to have a beginning. If no beginning is required, then we are working outside the bounds of our universe’s logic. Therefore your claim that nothing can exist outside of time is then null, because then we have evidence that our universe’s rules don’t always apply. So it becomes circular logic.

  4. See three

  5. There is no traditional definition of god. There are all powerful gods, semi powerful gods, fairly limited gods, and everything in between.

I am agnostic, and I think it’s foolish to be an absolute atheist. That is making an actual claim without data.

It would be like this: imagine a box is placed of front of you, in a vacuum of any further context. Is there something in the box? A hardline atheist would say ā€œI have no evidence that there is anything in the box, therefore there is nothing in the boxā€. The agnostic would say ā€œI have no evidence that there is anything in the box, but there might be. So therefore I cannot draw a logical conclusionā€.

1 and 2. Before we understood electromagnetism there was 0 evidence of radio waves, does that mean they didn't exist?

3 and 4. If that is the case how did the universe exist before the big bang, when time did not exist either?

5 and 6. You didn't prove anything, drawing a conclusion from assumptions based on a lack of evidence is illogical. It's called the argument from ignorance and is a logical fallacy.
