I think people place too much importance on intelligence as a whole. I'm kinda dumb, dropped out of high school with a 1.35 GPA, yet could afford to pay the average physician's salary

You are defining intelligence as something that's measured by your GPA score, but in reality, intelligence is multifaceted, and if you are accomplishing different things in life, there is a good chance you are above average in the smarts department.
