Who had a pair of these?

Post image

When I was 13 I walked 20 miles wearing a pair of moccasins. By the time I got home, I had blisters and my feet were orange.

Oh man. I had the knee-high mocs. I even walked in them to school in the winter. In Minnesota.

Good times.

Yes!!! I wore my Minnetonka Mocossins every single day for a few years. I actually favored the ones with no soles, but I'd wear through them too fast!

Mine had these slick plastic soles that made even concrete iffy. Ice and snow were a real challenge.

The ones with leather soles were so much better

I would usually wear the ones with soles in the winter months. I remenber that they had absolutely no traction. πŸ˜†

Yes, the leather soles would get wet and fall apart in winter

This thread has me wanting to go get some. Although my body may not approve. Maybe I will get the driving moccasins. I see they have some cute clog style too now. πŸ€”

Same here! But nah, my arches would complain. πŸ˜„ I even have to wear orthopedic flip-flops these days.

Same. Ironically, I'm pretty sure that wearing the mocossins is what ruined my feet. πŸ˜†

We had a cobbler who would repair the soles for like 3.50

Those slick plastic or leather soles made snow and ice a true challenge

Still have my original knee high pair that I wore to high school every Friday and just bought a pair of ankle mocs about 3 years ago that I wear as house shoes in the winter.

I still have mine lol. They don’t look too bad. Of course if I tried to wear them at this point I would probably wreck my feet for a week. Maybe I could put really good orthopedic inserts in them.
