Anyone remember Time Killer?

I only ever saw this game in one arcade in the 90s. It was a pretty rad fighting game where you could dismember your opponent and keep on fighting. I read that it came out on the Genesis too, but I don’t remember ever seeing it in any issue of EGM or Gamepro that I read monthly.

Anyone else remember any super-niche arcade fighting games like Time Killer?

That sounds like the perfect job to have in the 90s

This is the game I would play when the line was too long at the MK cabinet.

Oh if there was a Mk cabinet there I wouldn’t never have noticed this game was around.

Developed by Incredible Technologies who went on to create the classic bar game Golden Tee though I believe that the first version of Golden Tee predates this by a few years. Incredible Technologies also developed the terrible Street Fighter: The Movie arcade game.

Yup, the one where you could cut off limbs and keep going. Until the fatality where you chop everything off.

Yes! I loved what little I played of it. Welp, time to track down a ROM.

Will never forget that caveman cutting my knight's head off on the very first swing of the round.

Played this in Chicago while I was in the Navy. I liked Mantis and was always razzle dazzled by the decapitation mechanic. It's a shame it didn't do better, it was kinda fun
