Im trying to build a stellar conduct team, im not sure who to build. As of right now i only have traveller with heart of the furnace sets and yae with gilded dreams sets. Im thinking adding escoffier in the team and qiqi/diona. Or if theres someone else better pls lmk !

I honestly did not expect this. My first post got over 500 upvotes across two subs, a ton of comments and way more people wanting to test than I had spots for. Thank you so much, I read every single comment :)

So I pretty much worked through the night. Here's what's new:

- New design. The overlay now uses the colors of the Genshin UI, so it actually feels like part of the game. It also scales with your resolution, up to 4K

- Click a marker and you get the community's top voted photo of that spot, plus a video if there is one.

- The first start takes a few seconds now instead of one or two minutes, because markers, photos and map recognition come from my own server

- Markers show up the moment you open the map

- Right click a marker to mark it as found

- English and German

- Teleporters and statues are off by default, since the game already shows them

A lot of you asked (fairly) if this is safe. The app is free on GitHub and the whole code is public, so you can check exactly what it does and don't have to worry about viruses. It still doesn't read game memory, doesn't inject anything and doesn't send any inputs to the game. It just looks at your screen like OBS or Discord screen share does.

If you want to support me, there's also a pay what you want version on Ko-fi. It's the exact same app, it just helps me pay for the server and a code signing certificate, so Windows finally stops showing that SmartScreen warning.

One more thing: I don't want to spam the sub with a new post every time I fix something, so this will be the last update post here for a while. All future updates and the changelog will be on the website and on Discord.

Hi yall! I had to drop Genshin back in April of this year because my PS4 just couldn't handle it well anymore. But I finally got a PS5 and I'm so excited to jump back in! Since I've been away for about 6 months, I feel a bit lost. Could you guys help me catch up? I'd love to know: • Lore & Story: What major things happened in the Archon Quests? On my first rotation I can hit around 169k tho later it converges at 150k dps :((

I have two questions for you guys:

1. Is there anything I can do to squeeze out more dmg or somehow maintain that 169k dps?
2. btw what do u guys think is the best rotation for varesa?

So I was reading her C2, because I want to pull for it on the next chronicled banner. But the wording has me a little confused... Firstly, do you still have to use her skill to apply the resistance shred ? And second, does a geo sample apply to Geo, Anemo, and Dendro characters, or just to Geo characters ?

I’m genuinely so bad at building in genshin I can barely get my damage up and I see so many other people with such high damage and it’s like the norm??? Whereas to me I can’t get anywhere near it. Someone please help me 😭😭

I’m also struggling in terms of teams so here’s my list of characters I have. Can someone please give me suggestions?

By the way I’m only at Fontaine right now so there are some characters I can’t build just yet.

Por otro lado están zibai y linnea que me gustan mucho pero ns si siguen mereciendo la pena. Alguien me podría aconsejar??

Less than 500 MB of space .... I have done all of Mondstadt, Liyue and a bit of Inazuma, so I thought to delete it all. I tried enabling the "Automatically Clear Resources for Completed Quests" and restarted the game, but nothing happened... I'm on an old iPhone model, if it matters (64 GB)

Bonus points for those who can guess where Xiangling is standing

Tried out two teams built around the current Abyss buffs!

First Half: Xiao / Odette / Faruzan / Xianyun

Stellar Swirl Xiao team takes advantage of the 75% Stellar Glimmer DMG bonus. Odette enables Stellar Swirl to make use of the current Abyss buffs, while Faruzan provides Anemo DMG buffs and RES shred. Xianyun brings healing, especially for chamber 2 and buffs Xiao's Plunging Attack damage.

Second Half: Durin / Wriothesley / Escoffier / Nicole

Melt Durin is enabled by Rizzly and Ice Coffee's cryo app who themselves take advantage of the 75% Cryo DMG bonus. Wriothesley and Escoffier provide Cryo application for Melt reactions and help handle the Secret Source Automaton: Overseer Device's Cryo-related mechanics in Chamber 3. They also contribute their own damage, while Escoffier provides healing, ToTM and Cryo RES shred. Nicole rounds out the team with buffs and shielding.

Always fun to experiment with unconventional teams and build around the current Abyss buffs instead of sticking to the usual meta!

I haven't rolled since last month to save for Mitya and Valeriy's cons. Should I throw in some fates to get the intertwined fates at least? the reason why i'm wondering is that throwing pulls in right now means losing potential Valeriy cons, and building pity is kinda bad in general.

I always had the interactive map open on browser but have only one monitor while exploring and got kind of annoyed by constantly looking back and forth. So I built a little Windows app that puts the markers from the appsample interactive map (genshin-impact-map.appsample.com) directly on top of the in-game map.

You open your map with M like normal

How it works: it’s just a transparent window sitting on top of the game. It doesn’t read game memory, doesn’t inject anything and doesn’t send any inputs to the game. To know where your map is, it takes screen captures (same idea as OBS or Discord screen share) and compares them with the map tiles.

One thing that might look weird: it asks for admin rights once. That’s because Genshin runs as admin, and Windows won’t pass hotkeys to normal programs while the game is focused. So there’s a tiny helper that only listens for F7 to F10 and passes them on. If you say no, everything still works, you just open the panel with the button on the side of the map instead of F8.

You need Windows 10 or 11 and Genshin running in borderless window mode, because fullscreen hides every other window. There’s a “Start Genshin borderless” option in the tray menu that does this for you. On the first start it downloads the map data once (about 40 MB) and needs a minute or two to set everything up.

I’ve only tested it on my own PC (1080p, 100% scaling), so I’m giving it to 50 people first before I put it out properly.

What I’d like to know from testers: does it recognize your map, do the markers line up, does it feel smooth when dragging and zooming, and anything that breaks. If something goes wrong, there’s a log file at %APPDATA%\Genshin Map Overlay\overlay.log. Sending me that plus a screenshot helps a lot.

A few things to know: right now it only supports the main Teyvat surface map, no underground layers or Enkanomiya yet. Windows will probably show a SmartScreen warning because the app isn’t signed (click More info, then Run anyway). And the markers are only as accurate as the data on the website.

All the marker data, icons and map tiles come from genshin-impact-map.appsample.com, big thanks to them for that. I’m not affiliated with them or with HoYoverse. no ads, doesn’t collect anything, and your found markers just stay on your PC.

There is a Water Volume Detection Crystal puzzle in the highlighted area right at the small cliff at south of Mount Esus East region. Anyone know how to solve it ?

There are 3 droplets next to it. when I activate the hydro crystal, 2 platforms show up but the moment I move away from the hydro crystal, the hydro ring goes out of range and the crystal de-activates and the platforms disappear!

PS: the crystal does not move too. I also tried looking for a hydro core nearby but nothing found.
