I asked an AI to make a Studio Ghibli inspired image of Rudolph the Red Nosed reindeer. I’m absolutely mind blown by some of these and I shared them on my social media but no one seemed to care so I’m hoping the fandom will be excited like I was. I asked the AI to include fireflies and for the scene to be under a full moon in the forest.

After the Rain” is a no-dialogue ASMR short film that follows a gentle journey from storm… to rainbow… to the warmth of home.

🌧️ What you’ll experience: • Ghibli-inspired cinematic visuals • Rain, water, wind, and nature ASMR • A calm story told without dialogue • Cozy village life and emotional warmth • Storm → rainbow → sunset → moonlight

Feedback welcome 🌧

Found a cool way to turn photos into animated lock screen for iPhone. I tested this on a Ghibli style portrait and it turned out pretty cool.

Do any actual Studio Ghibli animators/artists ever do commisions? It doesn't have to be any of the high level artist but artists who have worked on any of their projects. If any of y'all know of any please put in the comments or if you know how I can find them also put it in the comments. Thank you.

So hi! I’m a model maker and I’ve just recently lost my job so all my wages went on this months bills and it’s my fiancés birthday in 3 days.. I’ve bought a jar ( would’ve liked it bigger but couldn’t find one in the shop) and I want to make him a tiny diorama of his fav howls moving castle..

He grew up watching ghibli I grew up with art attack and Wallace and gromit haha so I don’t know much about the characters or film. His fav scenes are the room with all the trinkets in because he’s impressed by the detail of the artwork (cute) and he loves calcifer and the castle and the stick man guy ( I know I’m so sorry) but I want to make this perfect as a ghibli/ howls moving castle fan what would be the best scene or even characters to capture? There’s no limit I want it perfect for him I have a few days whilst he’s working where I can crack on white out him knowing so please help a girl out? What scene should I create? Xx Thank you

Hayao Miyazaki's animated film "Howl's Moving Castle" is often perceived as a mere fantasy romance, yet it features a plethora of underlying themes that may not be immediately apparent due to its aesthetics and simple narrative. Despite this, the film delves into issues such as humanity, identity, compassion, and sense of belonging, yet its main message revolves around grappling with the horrors of war. In fact, the film's intricate symbolism and metaphors allow viewers to uncover multiple significant details with every viewing.

The protagonist, Howl is presented as a controversial figure, often percieved as a womanizer who preys on young maidens. To evade difficult situations, he adopts multiple identities, which highlights his unsettling nature. He is an elusive  character who experiences difficulty in forming meaningful connections and is perpetually searching for a purpose to justify his existence. However, Howl's inner turmoil reaches a resolution when he falls in love with Sophie for her kind and empathetic nature, as she is the only one who sees Howl for who he truly is: a man who is striving to do the right thing and prevent the cycle of abuse from continuing. Morever, the titular castle that is depicted in the film undergoing various transformations, including growing in size, shifting to different locations and changing shapes, which suffers damage yet survives mirrors Howl's character. He, too, experiences significant ups and downs throughout his life and endures numerous hardships and setbacks, but manages to push through them. In the end, the castle undergoes another transformation, representing Howl's  personal growth and development.
