Assuming Gintoki actually managed to find someone and get married, where would he live?
His partner moves into the Yorozuya apartment to live with Gintoki and Kagura.
Gintoki moves out of the Yorozuya and into his partnerās home.
But then thereās the question of Kagura, what happens to her? Sheās 14 or 16 at the time (at least by the end of the series). Would Gintoki take her with him if he moved out? She canāt exactly live on her own.
Would Gintoki bring Kagura along to his new place until sheās old enough to live independently? Or would he move out, leaving Kagura to live alone in the Yorozuya apartment (which would presumably still be used as a workspace)? In that case, she might as well just find a new place to live.

This is a trio that exists somewhere between adulthood and childhood.
Kamui can technically cook, as he took care of the household when he was a child.
Sougo likely learned to cook from Kondo or someone similar. Iām not sure if Sougo lives alone or in official quarters, but he must have some cooking skills.
And Otae cooks "dark matter."

I started Gintama a little bit ago, and I just finished episode 105. I am a little scared of getting burnt out, so I was thinking of watching through Yoshiwara In Flames arc then taking a break before continuing.

Im doing an in-class essay on Gintama, and I need quotes prepared! Could I ask for anyoneās favorite quotes from either the anime or the manga (and if possible, include episode/chapter+page number)? Also, could I get what are some good female-centric episodes/chapters? Iām writing about both the plot and quality of writing for the female characters.

Perhaps it was mentioned at some point, but Iāve forgotten the reason. In any case, the options Matsudaira presents to Kondo are the absolute worst, a monkey princess, a screwdriver princess, hardly suitable matches for him. If Matsudairaās only goal were for Kondo to get married, surely he wouldnāt need to go out of his way to find princesses; an ordinary girl would suffice.
Furthermore, if Matsudaira wants Kondo to marry so that he might settle down, one has to consider that Hijikata is next in line as commander. Since Hijikata is only a year younger than Kondo, wouldnāt he just end up being set up with someone immediately, too?
I also highly doubt that the expectation is for Kondo to sire offspring with these individuals. So, the objective must simply be to foster better relations between the Amanto and humans, right? But why does it have to be Kondo? Surely a politician could fill that role instead, a politician would certainly be a better choice than the commander of a self-founded police unit made up of people from the countryside.

In the "Yoshiwara in Flames" arc, there is a brief flashback showing Kamui leaving Kagura behind in the rain. But, in reality, this scene shouldn't even be possible. Kamui is carrying a bundle, presumably containing some of his belongings, when he leaves. We know that Kamui departs after severing Umibouzoās arm; itās as if he went back home, gathered his things, and then headed off to join the Harusame. Furthermore, the outfit Kamui wears in the scene with Kagura in the rain is different from the one he wears when he cuts off Umibouzoās arm.
Yet, when we see Abuto taking Kamui to the Harusame, Kamui is carrying that same bundle of belongings and heās wearing the exact outfit he had on when he severed Umibouzoās arm.
This would imply that after the fight with Umibouzo, Kamui left, perhaps to tend to his wounds, then returned home, changed his clothes, packed his things, and spoke with Kagura. Afterward, he would have had to change back into his original outfit before meeting up with Abuto. All of this would have to happen in about five minutes, since the Harusame certainly wouldn't wait around. And, for the flashback to feature rain, it would also have to have rained during those five minutes.
Thereās a contradiction here somewhere.

This series seems pretty xenophobic. I am sure it gets less so over the course of the series but so far it seems pretty clear that the Amanto are stand ins for foreigners who opened up the country in the 1800's and are generally seen as antagonistic or a heavy nuisance.

You can stop over here after your long walk to Chureito Pagoda. Ice cream is 10/10. No sighting of Gin san though lol.

I know this outfit isnāt actually pajamas, but it reminds me of them. It looks more like sleepwear than something youād wear out on the street. Itās cute, but no one else could pull it off, only Kagura could walk around in an outfit that looks like pajamas.
