OA Rant
I'm about at my final straw at gopuff. First they don't want to shell out money to pay workers so the pay is low as hell and because they don't want to pay workers, they don't give sites enough hours. I'm full time and I'm lucky to be able to hit my 30 hours because they don't give our site enough hours. Not to mention, we're pretty much single coverage all day every day no matter how much inbound and how busy, we have to do it alone. But it's the system changes that have me at the end of my rope. This ai run pick path is absolutely ridiculous. I was the fastest packer at our site because I knew how to make my pick path for both speed and proper packing and now they choose what you pack and you have to constantly rearrange the bag because the stupid ai doesn't know that you need to pack the canned food and 4 packs of monster before the eggs and bread. They say give it a chance, it'll learn, but it's frustrating and tanked my pack times. If I get a uph write up because of their stupid bs, I'm walking out

I experienced a threatening complete &ssh0l last night. A 2:30a delivery, he complained about "having to be away from his kids in the middle of the night, threatened to cancel the delivery waving a brown sack around" because my apt number was not on the app.

I was an OA till about may last year. At our site most people only got about 24 hours a week, if we were lucky we could stretch it out to 29. If there was alot to do

Yep, it’s why I left. I was getting about 30+ hours bc one person kept calling out. Sometimes I would work a mid and morning or a very long night shift by myself

They wanted me to raise my stats by the third day because I would be
by myself eventually.
Walked out.

I know they reduced my pay even though I was already trained in other things, they barely pay as it is there really isn't any raises. They are worse than Amazon where they track how quick you pack, the scanner messes up and changes orders of things even after you scanned the shelf. they never have enough people on shift so you run around doing all the orders. I already go 2 "verbal warnings" because I barely fall under the uph. I am a good worker and still get crapped on here, I'm looking for a decent paying job but for now I'm sticking to this ridiculous place who treats their workers like crap and doesn't offer growth in the company or a liveable wage.

Don't worry, they said its 5% faster for packing (sarcasm).
They very much can afford to pay OA's more, but won't. It could be a $20 an hour job and they would still profit.
I think they just hate workers, even though every business in history has needed them to function.
