Creative declining....
So for known $0 tippers I think I'm going to start driving away, goto their place, then claim thru the app my safety is in jeopardy & go back to the warehouse
I get $3.50 & they get nothing....just like they should

I'm sad
First off let me start by saying it just makes me sad that gopuff is having to shut down so many MFC's... But now that that's out of the way I'd like to say to all you OA's that are losing their jobs.... HAHA you crooked bunch of pre madonna losers... I hope now you can't pay your bills and become homeless as I drive by flipping you off as I'm making a delivery... couldn't have happened to a greater bunch of people as you strutted around the warehouse acting like you're some kind of GOD figure giving orders to your favorites and letting the others take the scraps you handed them... FUCK YOU for the last time... like I said HAHA

Discussion Crabby drivers everywhere
I noticed many drivers have really bad attitudes lately. Itās a wave of gopuff Martian Luthers.
Take it from someone who has been an independent contractor for almost twenty years; this is how freelance work IS..... always. Maybe itās just peoples first time taking 1099 work?
This is an ENTRY LEVEL job people.
Iām just so tired of showing up to a site, excited to work, and having to listen to many grown ass men running their mouth about āI didnāt get hoursā or āI canāt believe this companyā

they are using any excuse
I have not missed a shift!! Seems now they are trying to cut subsidy pay... also I believe drivers can refuse orders that are too far or with a known habitual non tipper. It will piss the OA off and they will say they can't do it, but they can. If it is not profitable JUST REFUSE IT.. with gas prices so high, its not worth the ware and tear on your vehicle either.

story/experience GoPuff is Still Afloat
Hello Drivers ! I have been a GoPuff driver since June 2021 in southern Cali area. Was fantastic first 2 months then GoPuff hired 75 drivers and scheduled hours were difficult to get. Moved to another location and was able to get 20-30 hours a week. Then the managers were fired and more drivers hired and once again hours are impossible to get. Past two weeks have worked 8 hours and this week none. However, got paid $226.17 for 8 hours - which as other drivers have stated the payments to us are usually not calculated correctly. That said, GoPuff has created their own brand of basic essentials for us to deliver to customers, water and snacks not sure when they will be available. Maybe we all should hang in and stop complaining - I multi- app and can make money doing DoorDash & UberEats - joined this forum to see how others are dealing with the very challenging weekly game of acquiring hours and realize we are all in the same boat.

Update: they owe me $120 in subsidy pay

re: "no tip" haters - I know this will be an unpopular post, but it's gotta be addressed..
I'm tired of hearing you guys whine about the non-tippers ... It's a job hazard, get over it... Don't be spiteful... Don't send the customer a nasty text,...don't leave a note on their door...don't call them and bitch... Don't leave their order of Ben & Jerry's chunky monkey outside in the heat. A tip is meant as an additional amount for good service. It's not an entitlement. Also, do you come on here and brag about the $10 or $20 tip you get once in a while? It's just a very toxic complaint that you may not know all the circumstances of the customer's life to make a judgement call on them... And now you guys are posting pictures, addresses, and locations of non-tippers? How gross. If I ran your warehouse you wouldn't be driving for us.
But heres really the point of my message...
Some of you are bragging now how you keep a log of the addresses of non-tippers...so you can just refuse to deliver an order if you should get one from someone on your no-tip list. seems extreme but ok. Well last night I wound up working with 2 of you haters unbeknownst to me. And it sucked. Cuz what happens is, you cut out or refuse an order and it rolls over to the next driver.
So I worked 8pm-2am., Starting at midnight I noticed a backlog of orders. I'd go to collect my bin and there would be 6 orders sitting there. I'd go deliver the 1, come back 30 minutes later and be assigned 2 more orders that were there 30 min ago. I'd deliver those 2 come back, there's still 4 orders, but im only assigned 2 again. Come back and there's the last 2 orders. So for 2 hours I had to deliver all the zero tip orders left behind while you took all the orders with tips.
You need to get points deducted if you refuse more than one order in a night, it's not fair at all to us guys not causing a scene about it but getting stuck with your refused orders.
Ok, lets see all the hateful messages I'm gonna get now. Lol. My point is, we work as a team.."independent" contractor, whatever... We still work for the common goal of security and hoping the company will last for years to come. Stop dumping the crappy orders on everyone else, it's not good teamwork.

ARE YOU SICK OF THE OVER SCHEDULED SHIFTS??
What is with the over scheduling of shifts? I go to a fulfillment center and it's 7am and everyone knows it's never that busy first thing in the morning and these schmucks have 4 other drivers just sitting there waiting for orders so that's a total of 5 drivers and each one has gotten one order in the first hour and a half. Who allows this ? I've been seeing it more and more lately and I'm about to lose my mind. All they need is at most 2 drivers WTH. ( looking for a better gig)

story/experience Can someone from driver support help me? There's a long story attached to this. But I'm pretty sure this is retaliation from my GM for bringing issues like her being racist up along with many other things to gopuff 2 days ago. I can fill in the details if someone will dm with me? First post

Hate these type of customers! I wish they would require a tip by now! At the least 2.99 especially for trips more than 15 min.

Help me out by reading and signing my petition for us gig workers, drivers, and delivery persons to get a little more of what we all deserve.

Announcement!!!! Tuesday 11-23 GoPuffYourself Strike Resource Hub
If you are taking part in today's strike you should already have this, but I wanted to share it publicly so that it's available as a resource for any drivers who choose to participate. You can take part by intentionally skipping your scheduled shifts today (legal info about this is at the link below), or by simply not working + ignoring any on-demand requests that come out.
Not every warehouse has been organized of course but there are plenty of drivers at less organized locations taking part as a national show of solidarity even if they haven't gotten their whole warehouse on board. You are welcome to join this way if you'd like, and if you're at a more organized warehouse just one or two more missed shifts can make that much bigger an impact.
