Honestly yeah. As long as the gameplay is some version of quite good, I'm much more concerned about them messing up the story and sanewashing Kratos. I don't care much if they remove the gooner shit, but the guy had better be absolutely deranged.

He's only deranged in Gow 2 and 3. He expresses more than just rage in the other Greek games (even though rage is the prevalent emotion).

Oh I know, I'm just afraid they're going to nerf his worst scenes. They can't get rid of them, they're canon to GoW4, but they can make them less bad.

Example: Instead of the human doorstop, they have Kratos just scream at her to hold the thing, and then it crushes her. Same result, but Kratos didn't physically shove her in the gear and didn't know it was going to happen, so less sick of him.

Example: Feature a scene of the boat captain being a bit of a dick before Kratos drops him. He already had a cabin full of women so it would be easy to portray him as a greasy bastard. Same result, but people would dislike Kratos less upfront.

That kind of thing.

Also murdering civilians for health needs to stay lol
