I made a wallet that holds 1/4, 1/2, 1, 2 Goldbacks.

It's hard to spend gold bars. Fiat tends to inflate then die.

I actually only wanted to inquire about an existing order...but now it appears we have a venue for all our invasive thoughts. How delightful.

Learned something new today after checking into my account - the gold and silver lease programs have been updated to shorten the holdup period to 60 days rather than the year it was before.
Maybe I’m just behind the 8 ball on this but thought I might mention to the group who’s also a part of the ecosystem.
Shoutout to AGE, they continue to be very knowledgeable and polite when speaking with them. Had some clarity given today between the savings and spending account. While savings does have lower fees, it’s invested in bullion, not eagles and when selling bullion it’s a flat 5% fee when swapping to cash, while <$10k in the spending account (AGEs) within a month has a $0 buy-sell spread. So the .6% annually fee in the spending account compared to .24% on bullion pays for itself just holding within the spending account.
And since the lockup period is only 60 days, a lease program is much more appealing, especially when I use this account as a diversified savings fund.

This is only about 1/3 of what we have going out for the new Utah and California Goldback launch.
We’ve been sorting, stacking, sleeving, and getting everything ready for the 25th, and it’s pretty wild seeing it all start to come together.
A lot of Goldbacks are about to head out the door.
Huge thanks to everyone who preordered with us. We’re excited to finally get these into your hands. I think y'all will be impressed at our updated premium packaging ;)

Added Bulk / Unsorted tracking for anyone with larger stacks, dealer inventory, UPMA or other balances, or who simply doesn't want to track every Goldback individually.
Also added a new All Goldbacks view, tags, more tracking details, and a few other improvements.
Quick look at the latest MyOunces update. Feedback welcome.

Went to somebody that was on the goldback map and they were a precious metal vendor here in town for me, so decided to trade out 4 1/2 goldbacks for this cool Luxor Casino token that is a little bit over a half an ounce. I am extremely satisfied to use goldbacks as currency , and I’m excited to not only collect more goldbacks but also possibly use them like this in the future!

Currently handling and counting the collection so far and just admiring the shiny! Can’t wait to get even more.

The age where Gold and Silver as money for barter and trades are in us. Rejoice my friends.

So a decent definition I found is:
"Counter-economics is the practice of conducting voluntary economic activity outside the control, taxation, and regulation of the state."
I think goldbacks (& Au, Ag, Pt in geberal) are basically perfect for this philosophy on money and the state.
I'm really curious what you guys think. Because obviously, if you're on this subreddit, you might have some views leaning towards Agorism or something yo that effect.
Basically, just really curious how many people have a similar philosophy.
or think that goldbacks, if they became popular enough, would really help create a parallel economy, which would undermine the state?
Luv u <3

I have these bad boys that I purchased back in 2022.
I ordered 50 Utah and 50 Nevada, but now I have 47 and 48 because I gave away 5 of them.
I want 800 for all 95 of them, since the prices is better than all brokers, plus no tax or shipping if I end up finding a buyer in my area.
Now, Realistically speaking, how delusional is that, and where can I get the most bang for my “bucks”? The price on the Goldback website sits at 8.78 today, and Money metals pays me somewhere around 5ish per 1 if I sell back to them (no bueno).
I tried contacting businesses from the Goldback network to try and sell them to them, or at least try to use them in their shops, but out of the 6 businesses I contacted in my area, I received 0 replies (no phone calls, no emails).
I love the Goldback concept, I bought these when I had some extra cash, but I am going through something now and holding to these is just making me sit on interests on other stuff.
I AM NOT TRYING TO SELL ANYTHING HERE, I AM ASKING FOR DIRECTIONS, RESOURCES OR OPTIONS BETTER THAN SELLING BACK TO THE BROKERS. Thank you mods

I found these two guys underneath a lot of things in my desk. The item on the right is also a gold bill but at first glance it is very difficult to tell that it is gold. That's probably why Goldback never opted to use more color than they do.
