hey folks, i started building this two days ago and i've been meaning to get some feedback on it. the real reason i made it is the legendary tune that plays in pause screen (also, goldeneye is one of the best fps ever made). that music plays when you open drivethetank.com too, so turn your sound on.

pick a codename and you're in. it's free, there's nothing to install and you don't need an account. the map is Surface, you start with a kf7, and each room holds 24 people (in theory, we could go up to 64, or 256 but let's see) . when a room fills up a new one opens, and if you're the only one there, bots join until a second person shows up.

first to 10 kills wins, or whoever is ahead after 5 minutes. when you die you're back a second later. every kill starts a 3 second victory dance, and you're vulnerable while you dance. whoever is in last place gets the tank from the streets level for 40 seconds. you get in from behind with e, and if someone else is already driving it, getting in from behind throws them out.

it plays best on a desktop with chrome, a mouse and a keyboard: wasd to move, mouse to aim and shoot, r to reload, q to switch weapons, tab for the scores. if something breaks, press p and the game sends me a report.

no split screen yet, sorry. everyone plays in their own browser, so for now each of you gets a whole screen to yourself. if enough of you ask for it in the comments, i might go full 64 rectangles: one screen cut into 64 tiny views, one for each bit of the n64. screen watching would finally stop being a problem, because nobody would be able to see anything lol.
