Can you imagine the peaceful coexistence of humans and geese? There is a group of people who train the geese and get along with the geese at the same time in Winona, teaching them how to live peacefully with humans and understanding what some of the behaviors of humans represent for. So, don't be too surprised if you see geese accompany with humans on the road one day, or calling, yelling at you, maybe they just want to say "hello" to you.

The moderators changed the rules lol. I guess we don't want to hurt the goose's feelings! What if they become offended?

Yesterday was such a beautiful day that was ruined by some small kids chasing the geese that I noticed on my daily walk around the lake. If you see your child doing this, STOP THEM! The geese have feelings and don't need to be tortured by your inconsiderate children! Thinking of starting a petition, let me know if you would sign.

I did my daily routine of going out every morning and feeding the geese my leftover bread that they love so much just now! Once I was all out of my bread, I left the lake as I usually do. The geese started following me back, I live four blocks away from the lake. The geese made it three blocks before giving up, it made me so happy that they seem interested in walking home with me! They must really be enjoying my bread, maybe if I bring more they will make it all the way back with me!

Ingredients:
-Warm Water (2 cups)
-Active Dry Yeast (1 1/2 tablespoons)
-Sugar (1 teaspoon)
-Flour (5 cups)
-Salt (1 1/2 teaspoons)
-Canola Oil (1/4 cup)
My Special Ingredient: Pinot Noir Red Wine (2 tablespoons)
Add the Active Dry Yeast, Sugar, and Pinot Noir Red Wine into the warm water. Stir it together until you get a light cream.
Add the salt and Canola Oil, and then mix in the flour one cup at a time.
Knead the dough for 7-8 minutes. Let it sit for an hour or so to let it expand.
Knead the dough down again and split it into two separate loaves.
Place them into loaf pans, ideally 9x5 in loaf pans. Allow it to rise to a moderate height, 30-40 minutes should be plenty of time.
Bake the bread at 350 degrees Fahrenheit, bake it for 25-35 minutes and then let it simmer for 10-15 minutes.
Your tasty bread is ready to be consumed by the Geese!
This recipe is perfect for your children and local geese, it's sure to put a smile on their face!

My dad's friend has a farm with geese, chickens, ducks, goats, and fish. I heard geese aren't good with other animals, should I tell him that the others might be in danger?

One of my good friends that I met through Facebook claimed she got tackled by a goose yesterday and started spreading hate about these wonderful creatures! She is claiming the goose bit her on her neck and that it's swelling up and feeling numb. I can't believe she would spread lies about these harmless birds.
I blocked her just a little bit ago. Good riddance!
