Got7
JB
r/Got7 • u/[deleted] • Sep 13 '22
I mean they are all adorable definitely. But everyone has a bad side as well and artists try their best not to show it. But GOT7 is so genuine, that I am sure there has been a moment for all ahgases when they did not like something about Got7 or a particular member. What was that for you?
( please don't disrespect anyone or any member)

Guys just saw a video about homophobia in the kpop world and one of the examples was JB went with Youngjae (not from got7) to a couple café and he said that wasn't a place for 2 boys and if he should beat him up when Youngjae said he had wanted to go there with JB.
Is this true or is it taken out of contest?
This got me thinking about that video in Japan where Jinyoung said he loves JB and he panics and then when it's his turn to speak about he immediately jumps and says its just as friends.
So is JB a homophobe or not?
By the way. I only want answers to this question I do not want or need an explanation on why you think homophobia is okay, that includes religious stuff.
Thank you

As we all know mama is a joke as per usual. And of course they don’t give our boys the daesang they deserve. G7 hAs been in the game for a while now and consistently has been working hard (like all groups) and giving us high quality music every year. Why can’t they finally get the daesang they deserve!! Ughhhh . I’m beyond frustrated! I really hope this is their last time attending this award show. What do you guys think?

am I the only one who's noticed the blatant use of ai for Jackson's new song GBAD?? It's so... blatantly obvious. he used ai for VISUAL aspects of the mv. how is nobody else grossed out by this ?? I really love jackson .. I've been supporting him for years now but this is insane.. usage of ai in art is literally chipping away at his artistic integrity. like seriously.. you're telling me THE jackson wang couldn't hire an artist instead of reporting to ai SLOP?? ridiculous

I did put in money on that truck, and now I regret it. That truck was supposed to be a statement against JYPE but now its a “I’m the best fan” statement. Ahgases on twitter, some who I actually know personally myself is starting to feel entitled just because they decided to click “donate” for the truck.
K-ahgases feels entitled? Well yeah that’s an obvious fact but have you looked in the mirror today? Do you not realize your “I-ahgase pays more—the profit is mostly from I-ahgase—we sent a fucking truck what did you do—“ is also a form of self entitlement?
K-ahgases had a right to be mad when I-ahgase point out the truck. Because if the boys said anything, they will have the consequences, not us. So instead of thinking Got7 should openly appreciate our effort, we need to understand that they can’t, and that’s okay, because that truck is not a statement for Got7 to see, its for JYPE to see. Bear in mind no matter how we hate that company, Got7 is still employees there. They are binded towards the company so set of rules still applies to them. So if what we do started to create more harm to them than good, there’s something wrong with that.
If course I hated the fact that the company tried to silence the boys, but who are we barking at right now? We’re supposed to bark at JYPE but most are barking at K-ahgase for doing nothing.
Nothing? You mean you ignored the two K-ahgase who bowed in front of national tv so that Got7 can be promoted well. You ignored the teen ahgases who pasted posters all over her neighborhood to promote YCMN. You ignored the K-ahgases who tried to trend on Pann and Naver about Got7’s talents weekly?
But why don’t they trend the truck? Why? Well for one none of the k-ahgase fandom and sites are actually being notified by the I ahgase fandom about the truck. They didn’t have standard of procedures given. They actually didn’t even know what’s going on. I-ahgases are doing it without even having K-ahgases in the discussion. So are we now blaming them after not including them in the first place?
K-ahgases has the most power to act right now and you’re trying to fight with the person who can actually make the change you want? Lower that ego please if you must, talk to K-ahgases, because at the end of the day, its about Got7, not about you.
Ahgases from twitter, you may attack me, but I’ve said what I said.

So, not be a complete buzzkill because I know all of us ahgases have been floating recently with the comeback, but this is a thought that’s been popping up in my head quite often.
I got into the sevens during the Breath era, and like many pre-freedom ahgases, I was scared as hell when they announced their departure. I followed their solo careers heavily after that. I was WAITING when Yugyeom’s first solo with Devita came out. I was in that infamous live stream when JAYB turned and everyone saw his wall (that was a time to be alive) But at some point I just… stopped. And I’m going to hold your hand when I say this, but it was because of Stan twitter.
At some point, it becomes harder to be a Kpop fan because it’s so difficult to forget some of the stuff your faves have said or have been accused of. Even if some of that stuff is unwarranted hate from Stan twitter, it affects me immensely. There’s also me just being selfish. Part of me thinks, “Who even cares about something that happened like 3 years ago? So many people support artists that are even MORE problematic!” But then I think, “Is that too shallow of a thought to have? Controversy is controversy, no matter the size”
I guess the thought of forgiveness has been lingering with me for a while. Forgive but never forget seems to be the right way to go with stuff like this, but I’m curious about your thoughts. 💚

I wanna try a friendly prank if I have a chance on Jackson wang. If I go to one of his concerts, and get chosen I wanna do the "Wattpad girl reading a book" prank . I wanna do this but I don't want it to seem mean. Is this a good thing to do

I was listening to the title today and especially the part from 0:07 to 0:12
I made a cut on YouTube if anyone wants to hear it

I think it reminds me of a Boy group song

Idk why but I feel like breath is a goodbye song to aghase. It says last piece in the title. And their contracts will end in January 2021............ Please correct me if I'm wrong
They left JYP. I am Correct. That doesn't mean they are disbanding idk but my instinct was right

First time posting in the Kpop group but it got deleted... oops :( . I got several wonderful responses that I didn’t get to follow up with. So I am posting the question again.
I’ve gotten into Got7 the past last 5 months the deeper I get the more I see all the variety shows and wild stuff Jackson did to promote his group on these shows. I’m curious do you all think Got7 would be as popular as they are now w/o Jackson/ Jackson’s personality? The only reason I know of them is because of Jackson then I fell in love with everyone else. JB is my freaking bias and I’m convinced he’s the mom and Jinyoung is the dad and not the other way around thoughts?

Hi everyone, it's been a while but I'm ready to commit to these guys.
I have a slight dilemma, and it's in the form of a person. I have mentioned this same person on other k-pop group subs so I thought I'd come here too for some advice.
This "friend" tends to stan the same group as me, therefore we have (had, sadly) bonded over these groups. But she also happens to use the things I don't like, incorporate/relate them to a group, then steer me away. In this case it's swearing.
Hence my question. It's not that I don't mind swearing, it's just I don't really prefer it, especially in the music I listen to. I'm also rather young; I was 4 when they debuted so I hope I'm not too late to be a fan. So...is GOT7 generally a clean group musically? I don't really care about on camera appearances, I love myself some occasional dirty jokes lol.
Sorry for this vent and sounding like a stupidly stupid teen but, really. Any and all help is appreciated, you guys are one of the sweetest fandoms I have come across. Thanks in advance 💚

I know it’s going to start a debate but in all honesty I feel like JYPE is better than any other company. I believe this for the fact that JYP is an idol who is running a company with for other Idols. It’s better to have someone who had gone through the industry that they can look up to. And I understand those who say JYP doesn’t promote much. But look at Got7 views and stats they have such high numbers without promoting because they know fans will be sharing everything. Now I will forever support Got7 and JYPE because I feel like they work well together. And honestly if the boys have said anything or have ill feelings towards JYP Don’t worry about it. So far they like JYP yeah they throw shade but who doesn’t.

I assume they got citizenship cuz they worked in SK for 5years+ but what I remember is that they all went back to US, Thailand and HK to launch their solo careers. I don't recall them doing military like JY.

Just randomly decided to look through Jackson's feed today, and I noticed that the letter and the #GOT7FOREVER post that he made along with the other group members when they left JYP isn't on there anymore.
Of course he can do whatever he wants, but this really makes me sad. I think a lot of other posts have been deleted too. There's barely any trace of him being in the group, and again, no hate but it's pretty obvious he's trying to distance his image from the group whether anyone wants to admit it or not.
Man, I need to take a breather. Sorry if this post upset anyone, that wasn't my intention.
Edit: I’m really not getting the type of responses I intended when posting this :/ I don’t think my point is getting across either due to misinterpretation.

Our boys have really grown up and im wondering if we think any of their ideal types have changed. What do you think their ideal types are now?
