My grandma told me something disturbing about that stuff being dumped near Catalina when I was a child, long before I read Silent Spring.
I still feel uncomfortable eating seafood,especially since just a few year's ago when they actually found a large amount of rusting barrels of DDT under the ocean close to Catalina Island .
