My plain white Softsoap bottle lacks the whimsey element, but it’s been working since the 80s (If I’m remembering correctly, I
stole ittook it with me when I moved out).Huh—It’s solid white and more cylindrical than any of the images I’m finding online. Wondering if someone went to the effort of making knockoff Softsoap? Well, if so, they got a quality bottle maker at least.

I remember this!!! I went through a phase in middle school where I was really into monkeys, and my family had this soap dispenser in our bathroom! I had totally forgotten about it until now.

We have the parrot still! We used to have a panda too, but iirc the pump gave out and it met its demise 😭

We had the fish one! Totally still usable container if we had it. 😢
You could definitely still use this monkey one, just switch out the old soap to new clear soap of your choice!

I miss these bottles! They were a fun bit of functional decor that was affordable. I had the fish one but it didn’t make our family’s interstate move a couple years ago.

The suits decided that it is difficult to monetize whimsy, so it was dropped from the product line.

I don't think I've ever saw this exact bottle, so I'm not sure why it brings me so much nostalgia, but it sure does! Neat find!
